"“The main problem with Aelia Tinos was a strong moldy odor that affected the entire room. Sheets, towels, and other linens all smelled of mold, making it difficult to feel comfortable. Even after airing the room, the smell persisted. The property is also quite a distance from the town, requiring a long walk to reach restaurants, shops, and the main attractions. Combined with the hygiene issues, this location made our stay far from enjoyable. I cannot recommend this place to travelers seeking clean accommodations and convenient access to the town. Very disappointing experience overall.”"

"In Tinos, the town by the port was my favorite, always bustling with lively shops and taverns, and where one could visit the gorgeous churches - this was all within walking distance to our hotel and so we very much enjoyed staying at the Tinos Resort Hotel. When we arrived, I was so pleased to see that it was adjacent to the little church of Agios Charalambos. It felt like a second home, full of beautiful furniture pieces and decorative as well as religious art from the resort’s founding family which we as guests appreciated to see in our surroundings. Meeting the owner and most hospitable host Andonis was like being greeted by an old friend who we knew we would miss once leaving Tinos. He and his staff made sure that we were comfortable and that we were having a nice time. Andonis encouraged us to thoroughly explore the town and also see some villages, something we might not have thought to do on our own but so glad we did. We were in a friendly atmosphere - we even made friends with the sweet dove on the balcony who was apparently a longtime resident. The balconies gave us a postcard-like view of the port and the sea, which we found to be breath-taking at all hours of the day. The pool was clean, quiet, and delightful. The breakfast spread was plentiful and delicious. Tinos Resort Hotel is a peaceful, immaculate and welcoming place where we appreciated the warm welcome, as well as the carefully selected and artistic decor - I couldn’t stop gazing at the lovely Murano lighting while relaxing in the living space. We could’ve easily stayed for a month, if it were possible, and get to enjoy the island and our spacious apartment a bit more. We know where we will book next time around! We highly recommend staying at this wonderful establishment which made our stay on this beautiful island all the more enjoyable."

"This hotel is NOT quiet. I am here now and they do building work with no consideration for how disruptive this is to any peace the guests might want to enjoy. They also play music most of the day as well very loudly. You can’t even escape it on the beach. There is also a lot of traffic that goes past by the beach and the pool. Also the service isn’t great and the pool and beach menu is over priced. Unimpressed"

"The hotel is in an excellent location about 10 minute walk from the main town. It is opposite a beach with nice views. We booked a junior suite with a sea view (via a Tour Operator). Not much ‘suite’ about it but it was acceptable. More pool /side sea view than sea view but better than overlooking the street at the back of the hotel. The room had a large double bed, a fridge, chairs, table, TV and full length mirror. There are no enclosed wardrobe spaces, just open hanging areas and shelves. There is a safe, which did not work. The balcony was small by ok with two chairs and small table. The bathroom was very dark, internal with no windows and offered a strange walk in shower that looked like it had been carved from faux rock. Whilst it was was cleaned it didn’t feel it due to the paint colours used an off white grey colour. Small hairdryer in bathroom - again OK if you are not looking to do any great hairstyling. The room needs updating but air con good and room cleaned daily and quite early. Plentiful hot water. There is not much around the property but we found a small mini market a couple of roads behind the hotel which did not show on Google maps. The hotel has two lifts. Again quite dated but were out of use one morning due to ongoing power cuts. The public areas are again tired and ‘messy’ with electric bikes charging by the bar. The bar did snacks and drinks but the as not fully manned and the hotel bar closed at 20:00. Bar food and drinks acceptable, but the menu reduced towards the end of the week. The pool bar was closed for the whole week of our stay. Breakfast is basic and you can sit outside on the terrace. It was exceptionally busy during our stay with a bus tour and lots of pushing and shoving to get the last piece of bread! The pool is again acceptable. Salt water. Ranging from about a metre to 2.5 metres. Relatively quiet during our stay other than the local children who were allowed to fine in and use the pool in the afternoon. The noise was unbearable pure screaming and any chance of reading and enjoying a relaxing afternoon was not possible. The hotel should think carefully about the satisfaction of their guests first. Not that many sun beds but they were comfortable with food fixed parasols. A shower is available and there are toilets. The area again is OK but needs a good clean. Drinks and coffee has been spilt and not cleaned up. Staff were responsive and friendly and assisted if asked for help. The positives are definitely location but the hotel could be excellent with a little attention."
