Hacienda Chichen Resort and Yaxkin Spa

The staff are friendly, the SPA is good!

We were scheduled to stay at another hotel (through Trip.com) which ended up being closed down. Rather than simply refund our money, Trip.com was VERY helpful and offered to secure another place for us, at their own expense. SO, we ended up at Hacienda Chichen. I have no words for it. The most serene, other-worldly, back to nature, classy, historic place I think I have ever visited. Exquisite is the best word for it. The grounds, the rooms, the pool, the food; it was truly a SANCTUARY. If you want a place to completely restore your soul and sense, choose Hacienda Chichen. Nothing else compares.

Such an experience

酒店位於雨林自然保留區裏面，原先步行景區入口，現在maya鐵路和奇琴伊察入口重修，離酒店就遠了，需要打車。這裏自然很好，雨林很安靜，員工想要小費地友善。進出都要預約登記過。房間床都很舒服！

Peaceful and beautiful stay close to chichèn itza. Rooms and all areas were clean and just gorgeous, our room was large and airy with a comfy bed. No television which was great, a very relaxing place to be. Food was fresh and authentic, lots from their farm, dinner and breakfast were delicious; the grounds are large enough to have a walk and the pool is refreshing. A little chapel is on site too. Staff were all helpful, polite and very friendly. Wish we had stayed longer here, loved it.

Our stay at Hacienda Chichen was such a wonderful experience. The location is beautiful and so peaceful, the room was quiet, comfortable and clean. It had a relaxed atmosphere and the staff were so friendly, polite and trained to a high standard which made us feel truly spoilt. I had a massage from Mirabelle which was wonderful. The pool area is beautiful and the food was also exceptional - I can't recommend this hotel enough.

A very special place and memory-making experience. This Hacienda is steeped in history and is tucked away down a private drive which is right next to the world famous Chichén Itza site. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. The food was delicious and to a high standard. We enjoyed the pool which is surrounded by a backdrop of jungle. A multitude of bird species make their home here as it is a sanctuary to a range of wildlife. The tequilas are also very good!

What an incredible place! My husbands Great Great Grandfather was Edward H Thompson. He once owned the Hacienda and Chichen Itza. It was incredible to go back and visit such a historic location with amazing family ties to it! The food was the best we had in Mexico and the gardens and grounds were incredible!

An absolutely fantastic place — full of energy, soul, and authenticity that modern hotels simply can’t offer. If you’re looking for a genuine connection with history, nature, and people, you will find it here. There are no TVs or flashy gadgets, and that’s exactly what makes this place so magical. Everything was spotless and beautifully cared for — the garden well-kept and in harmony with nature. I felt like I was in paradise, and a little bit like a time traveler — in a place where nature embraces you, as long as you respect it in return. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. And Adrian — what a wonderful soul — he brings this hacienda to life with love and dedication. His energy and passion make this place truly special. This accommodation is not for everyone — if you prefer ultra-modern resort comfort, it might not be your style. But for those who seek authenticity, peace, and a deep connection with nature and people, this is true luxury. The rooms were clean and fresh (no humidity smell), beds very comfortable, 1L of water provided daily, delicious restaurant meals, hot water, and a beautifully maintained garden. Everything you need is here — just in a more meaningful way. A rare gem that deserves to be cherished and preserved.
