My wife wanted to stay another night at this place that she liked so much! So we extended our stay! This 3 star hotel (photo 1) is on a hill with a great view. The chalets on picture 2 are fully equipped appartments. Also from the restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent breakfast (photo 3-6)i ncluding many kinds of freshky baked bread, marmelade, cheese and even mini donuts.

Das Hotel liegt an einem Hang am Berg in einer schönen Lage. Wir waren im Haupthaus, da ist die Einrichtung der Zimmer schon etwas betagt, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die angrenzenden Chalets sehen äußerlich sehr ansprechend aus. Frühstück war gut, Abendessen nur eine kleine Auswahl, aber sehr gut. Preislich zwischen 20 und 30€ für einen Hauptgang

The Hotel & Restaurant is in one of the most beautiful locations in Black Forest 🌲 and actually we had the honor to assist the annual Black Forest Cherry 🍒 Cake 🍰 Festival next door, so it was the perfect location for us. Certainly the food was a 5 point quality, home made sausages made with „Bärlauch“, which are wild garlic flowers 🧄. A dish me and our friends never had before while being raised and +30 years in Switzerland and south Germany. We can also recommend the Burger 🍔 as well as the traditional German meat 🥩 dishes like „Schnitzel“ . Home made fries certainly 🍟. The lunch starts with enjoying the beautiful view & the large terrace in summer, and with a warm welcome and a perfectly trained professional hospitality management. The servers know their menu, and can make recommendations. Enjoy! Also: Next door are some of the greatest sights like the Todtnauer Waterfalls and the tallest hanging bridge… a great 👍 spot.

Beautiful setting with stunning views
Quirky place high up in the mountains. Beautiful setting. Great breakfast and good sizes rooms, however the walls are paper thin so you hear your neighbours at all hours. We didn’t get much of a lie in! Our shower was luke warm and not very powerful.

Leuk hotel met mooie ligging. Stel echter dat je zoals wij, op zondag 7 uur hebt gereden en met flinke sneeuwval eind van de middag aankomt in Todtnauberg. In het hotel is dan niemand (rustdag) en ook het restaurant is dicht. In Todtnauberg zijn bijna alle eetgelegenheden gesloten en de enige die wel open is heeft geen zin in 'vreemde' gasten. Door de hevige sneeuwval is een ander dorp geen optie. Dat is dus zonder eten of drinken naar bed. Dat zal best vaker voorkomen Herrihof en jullie daarbij best wel beter voor je gasten zorgen.
