Hotel Playa Cambutal

Staff were efficient and friendly. We enjoyed the food very much. Presentation, flavor combo, sauces to compliment each particular dish. Your chef is pure gold, thank you.

This is a wonderful hotel in a remote beach on the Pacific coast of Panama. It’s far away from the hustle and bustle. It’s a long way to get there and the road on the last hour to the hotel is the only stretch with potholes The rest of the way was nicely paved and marked. The beach has dark gray volcanic sand and the surf is strong. It’s a paradise for surfers. We went there for the seclusion. Only has 10 rooms although 15 more rooms are being added. Nice pool, beautiful grounds. The restaurant is excellent with surprisingly high quality gourmet food that never disappointed. Service was excellent too. The owner stopped by one our table of the days we were there and gave us the load down on the renovations. Can’t say more positive things about this place and our experience there.

Very nice stqy at Playa Cambutal. Unless you want to pay $ 1000 a night to stay at the beautiful Sansara next door , the Hotel Playa Cambutal is a decent choice for a couple of nights in Cambutal. Clean rooms , nice garden by the beach and decent food. Very friendly staff.

Friendly clean hotel We had a lovely relaxing stay . The staff are very helpful . The gardens and pool area are beautiful clean and relaxing.

Amazing staff and facilities! Always treated like family. The location is perfect for surf right out front or a hang by the pool. Food was always good and the beers always cold. I will always come back to this spot when in Cambutal and have been back many times before.

Very remote, safe area. Hotel is wide open and never a concern. All rooms face the ocean with decks. Restaurant and lounge are completely open to the beach. The entire hotel is steps from the beach. Very enjoyable place to stay
