Riviera Resort

Booked in for 3 nights. LOVELY 1 bedroom unit. Unit number 40. Balcony overlooking the Esplanade and view of sea through the trees. Handy walking distance to lots of cafes. Parking included. Clean modern furniture. Recliner chairs in lounge, not the usual hard couches. Tv in bedroom as well for those early morning lay ins. Very friendly staff. Restaurant on site. Comfy queen size bed. Definitely will be back. They also price match 👍

Chose the apartments as they were right opposite the beach. Check in was easy as we were late and staff phoned to advise of procedures. Easy. Room was as we expected. Very clean and had all the facilities we needed. Individual car park allocated to the unit great, even a spot to wash a very dirty car. Trolleys available to transfer luggage from the car park lift to our room. Excellent stay. I left an article in the room and staff were fantastic to mail it home to me.

We just returned from a one week stay at Riviera Resort. We couldn't fault anything this time round. The pool and spa were heated to a beautiful temperature, I couldn't keep the kids out! There was soft music playing around the pool which made it very relaxing. The grounds were immaculate and the room was spacious. The manager Tor and his family do a wonderful job. We can't wait to return.

What a very pleasant stay at the Riveria Resort. Upon arriving, I was greeted by Tor & his lovely wife Yumei. Tor helped me with my luggage to my very quaint apartment looking over to the ⛱️ It was a very clean modern floor board apartment with lovely local canvas paintings & little trinkets suiting it's beach theme. The location was great! Close walk to the icecreamery, fish n chips. There is a restaurant in the resort owned by a very nice French man that looked lovely upon looking. I had already made plans for another restaurant to take Mum for her Birthday to another restaurant on the beach and made the most if the local fresh produce, and abundant fresh seafood. I look forward to dining here with Mum the next stay. Thank you Tor & Yumei for your kind hospitality & the lovely room you organised. Mum and I enjoyed swimming in the pool in the afternoon, & you take great pride in maintaining its cleanliness Tor that I noticed each morning frim my balcony you were out taking pride in the cleanliness of your oasis out there amongst the beautiful tropical 🌴 I look forward to staying with you next time. We are long time Riviera fans, and this year we took an extended four week break here - and it’s been absolutely sensational. There is no better accommodation in Hervey Bay - the apartments are great (and spotlessly clean), the pool is the perfect temperature (and also spotlessly clean), it’s right across the road from the beach and it has the added bonus of a delicious restaurant on the ground floor. We’ve already booked again for next year, and we’re not alone - there are other families we see in the pool each year! There’s no better review than returning custom, and you’ll find plenty of it here.

Loved the location and space. Found the place cleanish but dated. We found toddler socks in our daughters bed which prompted us to wash the linen. We were also told by a resident not to splash in the pool. My children are respectful and we did our best but ultimately decided to stick to the beach. We could not connect to the wifi and despite the tv being Netflix compatible could not get it to work. Curtains and carpet could do with a major deep clean and the peeling paint in our apartment needs to be addressed
