This Premier Inn used to be my favourite I've always rave about it it was beautiful. It's definitely been let go since we visited last year it's filthy inside and out. There was blood on our bedding. Breakfast cold & greasy. Garden overgrown. I did complain about the room but was told no others we're available.

Stayed here for the last few years as it’s a great location, but hotel needs some serious tlc. Room clean but dated now. Bar closed at 10 and tried to order a cocktail about 9.45 but was told we couldn’t have one as they were cleaning the equipment even tho the staff were still there at 10.30. Won’t be staying there again in a hurry until it’s done up.. didn’t have food there as we went to ottos for breakfast. Which was lovely .

Fab stay again in the annex of the hotel. The room was perfect for us and we had dual aspect windows, one of which overlooking the seafront. The facilities were on point in the room. Love having the nespresso, being a coffee addict! This is our second stay in 4 months in this hotel as it's so close to the beach and Abbey but walking distance to town and harbour, with no big hills. Hotel was clean and tidy and if you stay more than one night you have to request room refresh with reception, which I find better. Any supplies such as tea, coffee etc can be picked up at reception.

Nice room but food disappointed. I had the premier plus room. Room was great but food in the evening was a let down as was breakfast. I would like to have had a relaxed stay. Room views were partial sea view for price paid. Shower was disappointing slow water.

Premier plus room was large with double aspect views. Light and airy .Immaculate shower room and tea and coffee making facilities. The position of the hotel is right opposite a small ⛱️ beach and only a 10 minute level walk from the station. Also it is only a short walk along the promenade to The Princess Theatre and many restaurants. A wonderfully central place to stay. Will definitely be back.

Booked standard room but was upgraded to Premier Plus room after requesting sea view. No problem checking in at 4am (we had booked for that night and the next). Lovely big room, comfy bed, great view and easy short walk to the harbour. A very enjoyable experience overall. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a very disappointed stay with Premier Inn. Late notice the lifts were out of order meant trying to get hold of reception to let them know we can't use the stairs due to pram and baby. No one answered after after multiple attempts so I sent them an email explaining. I did get an email back that evening explaining they had given me a room on the ground floor. When we arrived they had given us a room that meant we had to go up stairs. It was incredibly inconvenient and not what was promised. When questioned the receptionist said "technically it is ground floor". The banging and footsteps all throughout the night were terrible and to top it off from 6am the same thing woke us again. So much so I had to go out of my room and ask the workers of Premier Inn to be quiet. The room was a very poor standard for Premier Inn. It resembled a 2* hotel with marks on the walls, creaky floor boreds, dated furniture and bathroom in poor state. Premier Inn offer a "good night guarantee" yet messaged me saying they will not refund the room. Personally I let most things go but that stay was dreadful.

The staff here were lovely - helpful, cheerful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is horrendous. The communal carpets were stained and torn (as was our room carpet), the (very steep) staircase bannister was hanging off the wall, the lift shaft boarded up (clearly the lift has not been working for some time). The room was as bad: allegedly we had a lovely sea view but the window was too dirty and smeared to see it and the blinds were thick with dust. The toilet didn't flush properly. The only clean thing in the room was the bedding (thank goodness). I went without my glasses so that I couldn't see the grime, and waited until I got home for a shower. I'm surprised to see so many good reviews here....perhaps there is an annexe or area that has been refurbished.
