FERGUS Style Tobago - Adults Only

Location was near both beaches and nightlife without being so close as to be annoying. Rooms were nice and beds were comfortable.

We checked in at around 2pm so a perfect time as our room was ready for us straight away. The reception staff were lovely and helpful and the smell of the reception area smelt lovely, I always commented everyday walking through reception the amazing scent they use makes you know you are in a 5* hotel. The room is quite compact but from other reviews I already expected this and wasnt that bothered as we wasnt planning on staying in the room much anyway. One thing I will mention about the toilet/bathroom situation though, is if you are planning on sharing a room with someone maybe you dont normally live with at home you may want to be aware the toilet door is frosted glass and if you need anything more than a number 1..... you may want to ask your partner to go out the room. I had no issues with it as I was on holiday with my husband but it is something I'd be aware of if your going to be sharing with a friend. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were amazing. I had no trouble getting to sleep of a night although some nights the bars over the road did like to start recycling their glass bottles at stupid times in the early hours of the morning and people walking by that have had lots to drink and like to shout at 3am, they did wake me a few times but I was always able to get straight back to sleep. The location is perfect right in Palma Nova overlooking the beach and the sea. Went for a nice walk along the beach past all the lovely beach bars and restaurants every day. The hotel food was amazing every single day at breakfast and of an evening. There was a different themed night to the food every night. It was lovely hot food and I couldn't fault any of it that I personally ate. The staff were all very polite too when serving you drinks and cleaning your plates away. The entertainment is not brilliant right now, I'm not sure if it's because it's still early in the season or if they just prefer you to go outside the hotel to other places for entertainment. It didn't bother us that there wasn't much entertainment as we liked to go for evening walks then come back have a few drinks and play some cards but alot of people do rely on entertainment in the hotel so that's something to be aware of. The pool area is good although the shade does stay on the pool till at least midday and most of the beds that are further back are actually in the shade until after 1pm. They won't let you reserve beds either, there is a girl that monitors this all day who gives you your hotel towels and she will put a warning note on your beds if your gone for a certain amount of time and if your still not back after abit longer she takes the towels off the bed to allow someone else to have them. This made me very happy as some people can really take the mick with the sunbeds as I witnessed a few doing it so I'm glad this rule is in place and not ignored like most hotels do. They have the bigger day beds that you have to pay for, the cheapest package is €40 for the whole

Stayed at the Fergus Style Tobago over the Easter Weekend 2025 After checking we went straight to the room and the first thing we noticed was the heat. Had a quick ‘adjust’ of the air conditioning and went out for a nice dinner On our return the room was baking, display showed 27c but we had adjusted to cold After a fitful sleep, we went about our day thinking it was us not knowing the controls. Our second night was much the same. On third day enough was enough, we were shattered through no sleep, and complained. We were told that the room temp is a government policy to save energy and that all rooms were the same. We considered our options to move hotels but then hotel team agreed to move us to another room that was larger and felt cooler. I have now read the government policy regarding temperature control, and yes it exists, but it is only for public spaces, not rooms and are clearly excluded. Although the hotel was clean, and well maintained, the heating issue is the reason I will not stay again

WOW WOW WOW. This is one of the best hotels i have ever stayed at. The staff were amazing and so attentive. We didn’t get there until the early hours of the morning and the receptionists were so kind and got us checked in so quick and had even left some sandwiches in our room for us as we got there so late. The breakfast is delicious and there is such a great range of things to eat and drink! Dinner was lovely. There was a different cuisine each night but always something each night that anyone could eat. Highly recommend purchasing the bali beds one of the days as they’re super comfy and you get them all day and drinks included in the price. Rooms were kept immaculate and the beds were super comfy. Not a lot of storage space for clothes but none the less you can make do. Would 100% recommend this and we will be back!

Rapport qualité prix abusif Cela ne vaut pas ce que ça coûte. Emplacement très bruyant si vous voulez vous reposer les chambres sont très mal insonorisées (fenêtres et portes) et la nuit c’est juste infernal entre les gens bourrés qui crient dans la rue et les camions à poubelles. La demi pension / buffet vous oblige à manger enfermé dans une salle de réfectoire bruyante là encore remplie de monde, alors qu’il y a une terrasse extérieure avec des tables à manger juste devant qui permettrait d’être dehors / au soleil. La piscine qui ferme à 18h avec le personnel qui commence à la fermer avant l’heure…. Les beds qui sont payants en plus pour les clients qui paient cher leur demi pension et séjour …. Frustrant et décevant…. Les cocktails sont particulièrement mauvais… Et le tout reste bien cher…

The staff are so lovely and helpful. The room was always clean and towels replenished. Food was great, lots of options for dinner and breakfast. Both pools were nice (although very cold). Beach is very close to the hotel and lots to do in the surrounding area.
