Madison Plaza Townsville

First time in Townsville, I arrived at midnight an hour after my checkin time and was so happy to find the hotel reception still up and waiting for my arrival. The service was epic. I requested an extension for two days and was given without delay. I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and friendly staff any day.

Tried to phone ******* to cancel until the following Week due to ill health. Phoned on Monday 14th to fit within the parameters of cancellation policy. Madison gave me reservation of **********. I tried Numerous times and was directed to ph no +86 21 60420924 booking. com (Shanghai) no knowledge of my booking. Told to phone trip advisor ph no +85 23 0083268 (hong kong) no knowledge of my reservation.Phoned Madison plaza Townsville to tell them that I had spent 1 and a half hours on the phone chasing a phantom company and to cancel my reservation. They informed me that I had to still pay regardless due to company regulations. ******* you are a no good company. I’m deleting you and the others from my apps. Will book direct with hotels in future. Trivago , what a laugh. Get your **** together. You can pay me the $434.00 that it has cost me. Have been staying with the Madison for over 30 years not regularly but always used them. Not any more. Facebook with this to inform others of my experience with Trivago, and others. Have a good day.
