"Absolutely loved my stay at this ryokan! The traditional Japanese room made for a truly memorable night. Room is very clean and comfortable, and the staff were so warm and accommodating. Amazingly it also included is an all-day pass to the seven public onsens and free shuttle bus (every half an hour from the ryokan). Ryokan is just a short walk from the JR station and Kinosaki itself is such a quaint, charming town, and staying here really completed the experience! Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful accommodation, very good service, with breakfast + dinner. There is a shuttle service to various public onsen. The hotel is at the end of the city. If traveling by public transportation, it may take quite a long walk. If you drive, there is free parking. The hotel's onsen is very good, the atmosphere is beautiful and clean, suitable for relaxation."

"对不是日本人完全不友善的酒店 Not foreigner ( Western & Asian) friendly. We travelled around 70 Roykan in the last 3 years and this is the wrost service we ever had. Japanese get to seat and offered juices when they checked in while we have to stand at the front desk and no juice offered. We asked for the yukata rental (free rental) and the young staff just ignore us twice. We asked for sizes a few times then he just said it’s all here. Then when we picking the only two small sizes he grabbed and give it to the Japanese girl and ignore us or never ask us before he took it as he knows we are looking into those. Very rude. Most of ryokan will bring you to the room or assist to bring luggage or already put in the room for you. This one you do everything yourself after check in. When we get into the hotel room it’s hot as no aircon is on. Then air con is broken so we called reception. With their broken English they insisted I don’t know how to turn on the aircon which I told them the air con is broken, after 15mins on the phone showing me how to on I keep telling them to send the staff up as we are so hot in the room as it’s summer and no window open and no fan was on after moving luggage. They came up and fix the air con for 45mins then told us it’s broken and need to change room. The whole hour we were sweating but no offer of water / drinks or anything and we just stand in the room while they fixing. When they decided the room need to be changed, they asked us to wait downstairs but leave the luggage in the room so we thought they will move luggage to the new room but they did not. Staff see us so hot at lobby didn’t tell us there is free drinking machine that we can get ice juices , they just watch us hot and sweat and not saying a word. When the new room is finished, they gave us the new room key and asked us to move the luggage ourself and return the old key. No help at all and wasted 1.5 hours of our onsen time. No apologies as well. I feel like being treated like a trash. Not enjoyable at all. I paid extra for the sea view room which when they change my room they offered a slightly bigger room but my sea view was mostly blocked (in the pic )which I am not so happy. There is amenities corner at the lobby, at night after the onsen we come back and want to take the lotion as early on it was gone and they didn’t replenish, the female staff have a bad attitude and flip her eyes ask us which room we stayed, we showed her the key and she said the cream is already in the room which her broken English. There is one set in the room but those are small one time pack which we finish after we had the onsen so we want to take another one. She was rude and insist we can’t take. Her attitude was so bad seems like we are stealing. There is an amenities cornor, if you not allowing guest to take please do not have this setup. Food is okay with the buffet. Wagyu beef is nice but they is a normal standard for Japanese onsen buffet nothing too special. Overall, with the price paying compare to other roykan in Japan, this hotel have very bad service to non Japanese. There is also nothing special for this onsen. Probably best to try somewhere else."

"Traditional Japanese hotel. We slept on foot under the softest as a cloud of blankets, ate the delicious Kaiseki-style dinner (there was even a crab! ) , went to the public onsen and a small bath at the hotel. The hotel offers a yukatu, a ghetto and 2 free tickets for visits to any of the 7 Onsens. The cities of Kinosakionsen are small, but very colorful! Hotel recommended"

"The ryokan style rooms were a lovely touch. The inclusive dinner came with so many courses that we were absolutely stuffed every single night and the fact that a member of staff helps explain all the dishes and prepares them in front of us felt like a real lovely touch of authenticity and luxury. There are no individual bathrooms in the rooms aside from a sink and toilet but the hotel Onsen is easy to access and comfortable to use. The staff also make the bed after dinner every night and anytime we had questions for reception, they were always happy to help, especially with train station transfer and recommendations and vouchers for different restaurants in town. The hotel rooms have a great view of the mountains as it is slightly off the main road. I would definitely recommend this for couples traveling."

"The room is very clean, but the facilities are a bit old. The tatami is quite good, and the quilt is of average quality and not fluffy enough. Advantages: The location is very close to several major hot springs (except Konoyu which is a little further), and the service is in place, especially the old lady who serves the meals is very attentive and thoughtful. The dinner is sumptuous and the breakfast is simple but completely filling. Disadvantages: There is no elevator on three floors. It is a challenge to carry luggage upstairs, especially when you change the hotel slippers at the door and they don't fit your feet."

"The overall feeling is very good, clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and the service attitude is excellent; the location is a bit far away, and you need to shuttle or drive back to the center or station when going out to the street; it is quiet enough to sleep beautifully. Our group of 4 adults and 1 child includes breakfast and dinner. Room 101 is the stable house, which is the largest room based on the floor plan. There is a pavilion and garden in the room. praise: 1. Quiet, clean, and feel very comfortable as soon as you enter the room. 2. As soon as I parked my car, someone helped me pick up my luggage and get into the hotel. There was my name on the welcome sign in front of the hotel (there was also a name sign in front of the door for breakfast and dinner). I felt very valued; all the waiters were very kind and helpful, and some The waiter is a ********* student who came here for a trial internship, so communication is much easier. The hotel has a shuttle. When you go out for a walk, you can call wtsapp to be picked up at a designated location, which is very convenient. 3. As soon as we enter the hotel, someone will put away our shoes, and the waiter will take us to the hotel to introduce all facilities, lounges, hot springs, breakfast/dinner locations, yukata giving, etc., and also introduce nearby cafes, restaurants, and check-in slots. , 7 major hot springs outside and other details. If the hotel is listed, you can enjoy the 7 major hot springs for free. (I asked the waiter that there is no need to cover up tattoos in the hotel’s hot springs) 4. There is a pavilion in the room, which is very beautiful, and the photo check-in is excellent; the Japanese room is very spacious, and can accommodate 4 large luggages. One side is a Japanese room for sitting, and the other side is for beds. 5 people need to sleep in the same Japanese room. The two Japanese rooms can be separated by a sliding door. Be a little quieter; when we have dinner, the waiter will help us lay out the tatami. The dinner is very rich, so full that we can't walk, and it is so delicious (there are red snow crab and beef). From what I observed, the waiter at dinner and bed is The same person, the service is still excellent and meticulous, I admire you! 5. The latest dinner we choose is 6:30 (5:30, 6:00 and 6:30pm time slots are selected). There are fireworks to watch just after dinner (9:00pm). The icing on the cake is that they are set off at the station, so we have to go after dinner. Wear a yukata and enjoy the fireworks directly outside the hotel. The 5-minute fireworks are really beautiful, especially at this moment. After the fireworks, you can soak in the hot springs directly in the hotel. Note that the lounge closes at 10:00pm for drinks and snow. Bars are provided, but alcohol is charged. The hotel closes at 12:00am, so if you continue to soak, you can still enjoy the drinks in the lobby (only frozen water, frozen black bean tea and coffee). 6. I went to bed very early after soaking in the hot spring. The hotel opens at 5:30 in the morning, so you can take one more dip in the morning. Breakfast is at 7:30/8:00am, and checkout is at 10:00am after breakfast. Tip: Go to Kinosaki Sea World. If your children want to touch penguins or feed dolphins or related activities, please make a reservation in advance."

"Nice, modern and new hotel in Kinosaki onsen with great hospitality from the hotel owner and his staff. I was welcomed by the owner at the door when I arrived, and they even prepared a beautiful greeting card on my arrival. Welcome drink was provided and the owner recommended good restaurants and provided the USP of each onsen in Kinosaki. The room is spacious, clean and new! I especially like the Japanese style of the hotel. Yutaka and 1-day onsen pass were provided for my stay. As the next day I had to move to another hotel, the owner very kindly helped me to transport my luggage to another hotel near the JR station. Overall, excellent stay, excellent people and excellent breakfast! :) Would love to visit Kinosaki onsen again and stay with Utsuroi Tsuchiya."

"First time going to an onsen and staying at a ryokan. I was quite impressed with the hotel's service... We traveled by train. When we arrived at the station, there was a staff member who looked after tourists (Tourism Center) who asked where we were staying and arranged for us to take a bus (free ride) to our accommodation. When we arrived at the hotel, there was a staff member who helped carry our luggage and suggested places to visit, including wearing a yukata to go to an onsen in the city! Our family stayed on the 1st floor (which was very good! We didn't have to climb the stairs because our luggage was very big and there were a lot of them, including a small child). In the room, there was a private onsen for us to soak in, and the hotel also had an onsen for us to soak in (shared with other people in the hotel). The staff who looked after our room was named Datto/Natto (I can't remember his name, it should be something like that). He took very good care of us, but it must be his job, lol. He served food in the room, made the bed for us to sleep on, and also suggested places to soak in an onsen. The food was very good... We wrote a request that we didn't eat meat, so the accommodation prepared a huge crab dinner set for us (more than in the picture). Because it is served continuously, I can't finish it all 5555) Overall, it is good. I recommend it, but the price is a bit high, but it is worth it for the service and accommodation 👍🏻"

KK LouThere is no breakfast nor dinner provided by this onsen hotel, and restaurants close a bit early. If you’re looking for an onsen meal, you maybe disappointed if you staying here. Beware if you’re a foodie. The sound insulation is poor, please keep your voice down. Since the first night I arrived was windy and rainy, and the curtain for blocking the sun is made of bamboo, it kept hitting on the window all night long. There is no elevators and the stairs is very steep, be careful if you bringing many luggages. Although the servers do not understand English, they are very friendly and willing to help! Overall, I enjoyed a lot while the staying. Thank you!

SShaojialinTraveling with my mother, Kinosaki Onsen ♨ is definitely the most surprising choice, and the hotel is even more so! Special thanks to the service staff Rose and GouGou, although the language is not fluent, they are very patient to answer one by one with the translator. I would like to praise the hotel's meals, the breakfast and dinner arrangements are particularly good! There are pictures to prove it! The environment of the hotel is also nothing to say, clean and tasteful. In short, it was a great trip, grateful to meet!

GGuest UserThe staff were helpful and friendly, although the do not speak much English. The cleanliness of room was good except that the cupboard doors and walls are quite stained and old. The shuttle service was very good with nice drivers. Facilities and amenities were very exclusive and good. So was the breakfast! Wish we had more time to explore their facilities. Overall a wonderful experience

MmookennPleasant stay with my husband, mum and auntie. It is a short walk to the main street and it gets pretty dark at night. Alternatively, just take the shuttle bus which departs every 30min in the evening, last bus out is 930pm. The hotel provides free onsen pass to the outside onsens. But u could also enjoy the onsen within the hotel, it's already really pretty. Breakfast spread is amazing I was so overwhelmed by by choices

Ttravel-with-meWe had a fantastic stay at this Ryokan. The staff were so attentive and welcoming (Thanks to our room attendant, Suzan) We arrived a little earlier than check in but we could go up to the room and were provided with tea. The room was beautiful and the beds were prepared when we were eating dinner. We were shown how to wear the yukata and even had welly boots for the rainy weather. The food was the highlight, fresh seasonal ingredients (crab!) which was displayed like a piece of art. I wish we stayed longer, well worth the money!

PPiwatUpon arrival, the hotel gave us 2 free tickets for aquarium next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful with parking valet and our luggage. The room we were in had an amazing view and it is spacious. It’s a Japanese style room and the staff had to come to put out futon for us around dinner time. Communal bath is big with an outdoor onsen. We noticed that they use salt water in the bath and onsen instead of chlorinated water like many other onsen hotel we have stayed in the past. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel but they open rather late at 7 and 8 pm so we didn’t get to try them. Breakfast were the same the whole we stay but they are pretty decent so there is no complaints. I would consider this to be one of the best hotel we have stayed during our trip there.

AAnonymous UserIt's a little far from the station, but the route is all local and walkable, so it's OK. It's right in the middle of the cherry blossom street, which is beautiful in this season. The breakfast and dinner look very rich, but the actual quantity is a bit small. The shabu-shabu beef doesn't come with eggs, probably because the quota is occupied by the hot spring egg experience. The room is large, but it's a bit cold at night with only the air conditioner on. Guests are provided with a 40-minute private soup, which is not bad

GGuest UserAs soon as you arrive at Kinosaki Onsen Station, you can feel the enthusiasm. The hotel has a dedicated person and a special car to take the guests to the door of the hotel. The receptionist at the front desk printed out the order information early, gave a warm reception, and introduced the situation of the town and the location of the fireworks that day. The room is a traditional Japanese room, and children like it very much. The room is large and has a private bathroom. The time for one stay and two meals is also set at the front desk. When the time comes, the food is well prepared, rich and the service is attentive. Unfortunately, I missed the time for the hotel's hot spring that day. I didn't have time to take a dip the next day, so I had to go next time. It's actually better to stay in town for two nights, it's very quiet.
