Lakefront Cabin with private pier on Donner Lake

Really lovely place for a group with an exceptional dock for easy access to the lake. Kitchen has all amenities that you would need to make every meal at home. Great communication with the hosts. I would rate the cleanliness as good instead of excellent; quite a few large spiderwebs, carpets with some staining, bath rugs well worn and bathtub that could a little TLC. However, with any vacation rental, I imagine it is hard to keep everything top-notch! Also bummed out that we couldn’t use the propane fireplace on the deck, that would have been good information to share in the listing. We had a lovely retreat at this lake house and would absolutely stay here again.

A beautiful property and a friendly host with thoughtful and excellent communication The property has stunning views, comfortable furnishings and everything needed for a relaxing stay. We stayed between seasons so we couldn’t take advantage of the many recreational advantages but the stay was comforting and gorgeous. The host, Karen went way beyond what was necessary to make sure our stay was everything we wished for. Appreciated her so much. Our only cautions are lots of steep stairs and firm beds (ok for us but some might not like.) We hope to return some day.
