Tranquility Bay Beach Retreat

We parficularly feel deeply inspired by Linda and Larry, not just as our hosts but also as two beautiful humans with a golden heart. They're are graceful and kind. They made us feel like home at Tranquility Bay Beach Retreat. The peaceful atmosphere, the neatness in the "cabañas", the lovely animals around, and the direct contact with nature in the sorroundings undoubtedly made our vacations unique. The food they serve is truly organic and fresh, but more inportantly, being trated like family and respect by the whole staff is something we mostly admire. This place is perfect for big groups! The service was excellent the staff was friendly and attentive to our every need. The views were stunning, and the facilities were top-notch. We had plenty of space to spread out in the clean rooms and the large outdoor area. Its proximity to town was also a big plus. Overall, this is a fantastic option for business retreats, mission trips, or any large group gathering.

Tranquility Bay is a little bit of Eden in the jungle but with incredible miles of white sand beach and Caribbean shore. This is the ideal place for peace and quiet and a somewhere to totally relax and not be bothered by anyone else. Our hosts and owners, Larry and Linda make you feel like extended family and, with the help of their attentive staff, serve up delicious meals that you can select from a varied menu in the restaurant. Each of the 5 spacious cabanas can sleep 4 people and includes a kitchenette. Snorkling, boat and dive trips can be arranged by Larry and there are paddle boards available. My husband and I had a wonderful time here and really got to see a little bit of life in Honduras thanks to Larry and Linda . They took us on several excursions to Trujillo and also to see how the local people live. We went at Christmas time and enjoyed a typical family dinner with all the staff and our hosts.
