I requested a twin room when I made my hotel reservation, but I was assigned a single bed room upon arrival. When I asked to switch to a twin, the staff acted as if it were a big deal. They eventually changed my room, almost as if they were doing me a favor. I guess this is just part of my first visit.

I’m surprised there isn’t much reviews here at TripAdvisor but would love to give a true review of my experience. Azalea has a very good location , it’s near and within short walking distance to a few highly rated eateries (just use google) . If you are planning to go fansipan, it’s just a short walk to sunplaza to take the funicular which will take u to cable car station. I received complimentary upgrade to a suite as I reached out to them in advance for some in room decor for my wife’s birthday. Smith who I corresponded with was prompt and helpful with all the arrangements , not only that , while we were there , he met us during breakfast hour to suggested itinerary based on the weather over next few days and even booked my fansipan funicular + cable car tickets for me. All I needed was to flash rhe QR ticket he has sent me and I was on my way. Highly recommended .

YOUR STAFF STOLE MONEY FROM US! My sister & I lost each usd300. WORST STAY for us!!! Staff not helpful & DISHONEST worst hotel! We hid and kept our money inside our passport cases inside our suitcases and they went inside and took our money. They even accused us of taking face towels and blow dryer bags which we didn’t take and left in the room. Projecting their kleptomaniac activities on us! WORST hotel DONT book this hotel

Very nice hotel, new and very clean, very convenient central location. However, it should be noted that there was little attention to important details, starting with giving us the wrong room, of a lower class and only after a long discussion were we able to have our room, but a day later and with an inaccurate compensation for the difference in cost. Another sore point was the breakfast, practically non-existent, few dishes, even eggs were missing for an omelette, zero western breakfast, in short for a hotel in this price range it is inconceivable and finally the staff, excluding the desk clerks, do not speak English! They could shine but there is still a lot to be done.
