I recently stayed at Aydınbey Resort and unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing. While the hotel has potential, there are too many issues that made the stay uncomfortable and far from relaxing. Room The room itself was nicely designed – modern, comfortable, and spacious. However, the air conditioner didn’t work, which made sleeping difficult. Housekeeping was below expectations – the ashtray was never emptied, water was not replenished, and overall attention to cleanliness was lacking. Guests & Atmosphere Approximately 99% of the guests were Russian-speaking, many of whom behaved in a disrespectful and messy way. Loud, disorderly, and often disturbing to others, especially in common areas. Sadly, the hotel staff seemed to tolerate this behavior instead of addressing it. Staff & Communication The majority of the staff do not speak English, making communication nearly impossible. The only exception was a few employees at the Wonder Bar – they were kind, polite, and made an effort to engage with guests. Special thanks to them, as they were the only ones who brought some positivity to the evenings. Drinks & Bars Drinks across the resort were generally disappointing – served in paper cups, with little care or presentation. Only at Wonder Bar did the bartenders try to make proper cocktails, and even then, only if requested. Elsewhere, drinks like whiskey-cola seemed to be the default and required minimal effort. Pools & Beach The only pool that felt somewhat relaxing was the furthest one – fewer people and less loud Russian music. Unfortunately, the peace was ruined daily by a gardener using loud petrol-powered tools around the pool area. The beach was a major letdown – small, crowded, with sunbeds crammed together. The sea entry was rocky and unpleasant, and cigarette butts and other trash were everywhere. Entertainment & Activities All animation was entirely in Russian. The animators made no effort to speak English, which made it clear the hotel caters almost exclusively to Russian tourists. This was frustrating and exclusionary for others. Food The main restaurant served tasty and varied meals, which was the highlight of the stay. However, even arriving 30 minutes before the end of meal times meant dealing with long queues and messy, uncleared tables. Snacks and drinks were available throughout the day, but again – prepare to wait in lines to get anything. Other observations The hotel is very child-oriented – lots of kids screaming and jumping into the pool, ignoring “no jumping” signs, and the lifeguards didn’t intervene. Even some adults acted similarly, disturbing others’ rest. The hotel layout is convenient – everything is within close walking distance. However, there is a clear lack of calm, outdoor lounge areas that don’t face a road. Final thoughts While I appreciated the tasty food and a few kind staff members, the overall environment was too chaotic, loud, and disorganized. It may suit those who want non-stop activi
