Chixia Homestay

We booked this hotel because we wanted to use the pool. The pool was very dirty. The first two days it was open, the last day they had emptied it and could not be used at all. The breakfast was not good and they did not serve any coffee at the hotel. When we checked in our room was not ready. When we actually got into the room, the floors were very dirty. They didn’t clean our rooms during our stay which meant that the old breakfast tray was left in the room. We also did not receive any new towels, water bottles or toilet paper. Our friends had a cockroach in their room. There were many flies both inside the room and outside the facility. The service overall was not very good. Apart from one staff member that took us out on a food tour our first night. That was very appreciated.

Excellent service on day and in the evening, the employees are very helpful and kind. They helped us to arrange a day trip with a taxi, help us cut fruits and for did everything so that we enjoy our stay. The room is big, clean, modern and full-equipped for two persons. Bathroom had all we need. Personal fridge would be appreciated but the employees offered us to us the bar’s one to stock our fruits. The breakfast is to be taken in the snack of the touristic area nearby. It’s a bit pity not to have breakfast in the wonderful scenic spot of the hotel (near swimming pool for example). The terrace near the swimming pool is very beautiful and we really appreciated it at night!
