Great for exploration The Blue Ox Bungalow is a great starting point for exploration into Joshua Tree National Park. A short, easy drive to the North Entrance. Clean and comfortable lodging, clear communication from the owner and a short walk to the JTNP Visitors Center and other prime Twentynine Palms offerings. The traffic noise didn't wake the kids up and the place was otherwise ideal for our family spring break adventure.

Mother/Son visit We had an absolutely top-notch stay at this charming bungalow! From the moment we arrived,the atmosphere was warm and inviting,with a perfect balance of cozy comfort and thoughtful design. It’s clear that a lot of love and work went into creating this space - it’s truly a home away from home.The bungalow was stocked with everything we needed,making it stress free and enjoyable.Every detail was carefully considered ,from the well equipped kitchen to the plush bedding and cozy nooks perfect for relaxing.It was the perfect blend of modern amenities and character-filled charm.I can’t recommend this property enough and can’t wait to return for another visit.Danielle is the perfect host.

29 Palms Bungalow The Blue Ox Bungalow was beautifully appointed and anything we needed was there, obviously the owner/mgr had everything well thought out. We thought it was charming. It was centrally located to restaurants and a Joshua Tree entrance and visitor center. We did find traffic a bit loud, esp. on a Saturday night though.

Comfortable and cared for The bungalow was quaint but had everything we needed. Clean and tidy. Kitchen was well-stocked. Bathroom was beautiful! We really enjoyed the backyard, we had a fire one night, our boys played cornhole, and enjoyed using the Blackstone. Many extras went into this property, such as complimentary snacks. It was close to the main highway, but this also made restaurants and the JTNP visitor office in walking distance. Highly recommend!
