Toulinguet Inn - Suites

Stayed in room 5. C$195/ per night. Very nice and cosy. It's an old, small building but nicely decorated. Has a full kichenette and a porch that leads out from the kitchen. Nice hiking trails around. A must hike is to the natural arch. Around 5km hike in total. Was still cold at the end of May at 4°C.

Stayed two nights in Unit (#6) on the upper level with deck overlooking the bay. Units were clean and just as described with parking on site. Super convenient to walk over to Iceberg Quest Tours if that's in your plans. Near trails and town for groceries and restaurants, loved eating at Annie's Harbour Restaurant. Would stay again.

Wir kannten schon die ausgezeichnete Lage des Toulinguet Inn von einem früheren Besuch in Twillingate. Daher buchten wir uns jetzt in eine Suite mit Meerblick ein. Bei Ankunft gab es keinen Ansprechpartner vor Ort, erst als wir wieder Internetempfang hatten, konnten wir die Mail lesen, die am Nachmittag gesandt wurde. Wir hatten eine andere Vorstellung von einer Suite! Das Zimmer sah zwar nett und modern aus, war aber absolut unpraktisch: kein Schrank, keine Ablagemöglichkeit, kleines Bad, hellhörig. Eine Küchenzeile war eingebaut. Ansprechpartner gab es nicht, eine direkte Zahlung war nicht möglich. Erst nach Tagen konnte man eine Abbuchung auf unserem Konto sehen. Obwohl die Unterkunft als B&B ausgelegt ist, gab es kein Frühstück! Bis auf den sehr schönen Ausblick waren wir nicht sehr zufrieden.

What a jewel of a place! We stayed in the completely renovated building housing four efficiency rooms. They are picturesque with great private balconies and views of the harbor with scenic boats going in and out. Icebergs were numerous and floated nearby. The decks have colorful, comfortable outdoor wooden seating. The suite rooms are small but well designed. There is a small two burner cooktop and mini cube fridge. While there is no air conditioner, fresh ocean breezes waft through the several windows to keep things cool plus a fan is provided. The rooms are scrupulously cleaned and extra dish and bath towels, etc. are provided daily in a clever wicker basket hanging outside each doorway. The owners Maddie and Jay and daily cleaner Annie are very attentive and live nearby. It is a great location to spend several days exploring and hiking in the area. There are three comparably priced grocery stores nearby, but the Foodland has the best selection. Thinking hard, the only negatives were some low level road noise (during the day only) and noise from the upper two suites could be heard in the two lower suites, but the lower two have more generous decks. Best location and place in Twillingate!

We stayed for 2 nights in the blue building in an individual room with washroom and it was perfect! Room was well decorated, well equipped, clean and right in front of the dock where our iceberg tour left from. The view of the bay was awesome with icebergs and everything was a 5 minute drive away. Great host that took good care of everything!

Very tiny room. Kitchen amenities there but mini fridge was super tiny. We were expecting a somewhat larger fridge since it has a kitchenette. Every inch of the room has been put to good use. Amazing views. The deck is right by the water. A great place to have a drink or a meal. We were able to view icebergs from the deck! Bathroom clean and compact. Good water pressure. No AC. We had a fan to use. We were there during the heat wave. We met the staff on our first full day. Staff super helpful. If you need anything just ask. Location is just beside Iceberg Quest. So super convenient if you are taking their 2 hr tour! Ps. Don’t use google maps to get around town. It kept saying there was a Foodland just up the street. Not so. We drove around and found an Independent grocery store on the main drag.
