Pigeon Hotel Cappadocia

We absolutely recommend this beautiful, family-run hotel with a stunning view on the valley. Our room was large and confortable and we particularly appreciated the bathroom with a hot tub. The owners, Ibrahim and Eser, are very kind and friendly and they made us feel as at our home. Eser also is a great cook, she pleased us with plentiful turkish breakfasts and a wonderful testi kebab... You can't miss a stopover in this peaceful place and a romantic dinner on the panoramic terrace with one of Eser's traditional dishes!!

The breathtaking views, the food, the rooms and the hospitality are top tier at Pigeon Hotel. The owners could not do enough for us! Eser was super lovely, she booked everything for us, exchanged our money and even made me a hot lemon when I was feeling under the weather; it’s like home from home here. The views of the valley are out of this world magical. The sunrise and sunset is spectacular and this is a prime spot to witness those. I’ve told all my friends and family about this hotel and the premium hospitality we received here; not to mention the food quality. Kindness and friendliness is such a bonus with hotel hospitality, and these guys really did go the extra mile. The cave room we had was brilliant. Comfortable bed, sofa, fan, kettle… even a jacuzzi bath! You won’t be disappointed! Not overpriced either, like some of the other hotels nearby. We’ll be back!

An extremely good hotel with all amenities. Our trip was extremely pleasant and we loved our stay. The owner is great and very helpful and is available 24/7. Arrangement done for our tours were extremely satisfying. Good value for money & would recommend this hotel to all.

Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve, avec des chambres dans la roche, c est une première pour nous. L hôtel dispose de plusieurs terrasses pour le petit déjeuner, excellent et typique Turc, mais aussi pour le dîner...La cuisine est traditionnelle et excellente. Les patrons et le personnel très sympathiques, toujours aux petits soins pour nous,Pour la prestation les tarifs sont tres abordables.

Wenn man Kappadokien besucht, kann ich Uçhisar echt empfehlen. Abseits vom Trubel der Stadt kann man hier in aller Ruhe den Gesang der Vögel genießen und die großartige Natur der Erde auf sich wirken lassen. Trotz der ruhigen Lage ist man mit dem Auto schnell im Zentrum, und auch an Touren, zum Beispiel Heißluftballonfahrten oder Reitausflügen kann man problemlos teilnehmen. Die Aussicht von diesem Hotel war atemberaubend – wir haben drei Nächte dort verbracht, hätten aber gern noch länger geblieben. Die Inneneinrichtung des Hotels war sogar noch stimmungsvoller als auf den Fotos. Das Höhlenzimmer ließ einen die Atmosphäre vergangener Zeiten spüren. Es war sehr komfortabel, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war das beste auf meiner gesamten Türkeireise – von außergewöhnlicher Qualität. Die Besitzerin des Hotels hat es selbst zubereitet und ist eine hervorragende Köchin. Im Garten gibt es eine Schaukel, auf der man mitten in der Natur schaukeln kann. Es war ein wunderbares Erlebnis, das einen in die Kindheit zurückversetzt. Die Besitzerfamilie und das Personal waren äußerst freundlich – ich würde auf jeden Fall gerne wiederkommen!
