Lake Pichola Hotel

This hotel is just beside the lake pichola and gives a tremendous view of Lake. Loved the service and stay there. The staff are polite and nice. The lakeside view gives an amazing view in the morning and we can enjoy tea or coffee on the balcony.Totally happy with hotel

We stayed at the Lake Pichola Hotel for 2 nights and I must say the stay was amazing from start to finish. On the day of arrival our train got delayed. We called up the hotel and they kept the kitchen open for us to have dinner. We booked the balcony room with lake Pichola view. The balcony was absolutely stunning. It had direct city palace views and you could just sit in the balcony and spend hours just watching the city get on with their lives. The Upre restaurant is one of the most picturesque in the area and had great food. Breakfast by the lake was a serene and stunning experience. Overall, one of our best stays ever, especially considering the price

Else it was a good experience other then at the time of check in. we and many other reached the hotel before time, as i can understand that it is not possible for hotel to give early check in every time, though hotel gave it to us 2hr prior to check in time. but one thing which i didn't expect from the hotel that when we were siting in the lobby and waiting for our room no one even ask for water, and they were least attentive. Rest every thing in the stay was good and pleasant. After the check in hotel staff became so nice that i was unable to process this, how this change happen. i hereby request to the management that this slight change to be attentive toward the guest before check in is the only and very little ting to correct. Hope you people may rectify it.

Great location but rooms could have been better for what they charge. The rooms were quite basic in comparison to many other hotels in the city. They charge for the view and location, which is okay, I understand. The people managing the hotel were were nice but wouldn't pick phone when you call them. The best rooms are the ones which are lake facing. The breakfast on the lake front is awesome, a great place to enjoy views and weather.

Throughout a fabulous month long trip in India, Lake Pichola Hotel was the low point. We were staying there as better hotels were booked out way in advance (?wedding season). The photographs online are deceptive. We had a ‘suite’. It was filthy. The bath leaked. The bed linen and sheets used to cover sitting areas were cheap and grey. Furniture and fittings were chipped and broken, soft furnishings faded and grubby. There seemed to be an entirely male staff, who almost without exception were taciturn. Food was pretty bad, the worst we’ve had in India.

Travelling from the uk, touring India. We arrived in Udaipur at the Lake Pichola Hotel. We arrived earlier than our check in time yet were still given a warm welcome with flower🌷garlands! The reception attendant Roger greeted us and spoke in oxford english! Check-in was fast, Prithvi, Mukesh, Manohar, Yogendra, Raj and Shedev gave us early check-in as we had our baby grand daughter🍼 in family group, God bless them 🙏. Our balcony room was superb clean and spacious with an amazing view of the lake and many tourist attractions! (best room with a view of our entire trip!👀). We enjoyed the breakfast selection which was great and tasty 👍 with Vardan playing the flute beautifully 🎵 in the restaurant. Congratulations to Manager, Mr Surrendra Singh on his amazing team!⭐ Room service and house keeping team Bubblo Devi Singh, Ramesh and Zafar were fast and efficient. They really looked after us. Security team Madan Tali, Ajay and Supervisor Karan Singh were always busy but always smiling and greeting us every time. We always felt safe staying at the hotel. There is a complimentary auto shuttle for guests. I will be definitely coming back to this hotel and would recommend to any family worldwide 🌎 to experience it's luxury and hospitality!🌹It was heart felt to mention names so anyone coming to Udaipur can experience and meet these lovely people.
