"Hotel in a central and very convenient position for those arriving in Udine by train: the structure is in fact located halfway between the train station (reachable in just five minutes on foot) and the famous Piazza della Libertà, a Venetian-style jewel and the heart of the city . The large hall - a little too flashy among showy chandeliers, staircases and statues - heralds the large size of the hotel, confirmed by the long and often excessive waits for the lifts (few and modest in size compared to the number of guests). Very large, clean rooms, equipped with parquet flooring, comfortable beds and a small balcony. Next to the reception, a beautiful staircase with wrought iron railing leads to the restaurant, characterized by a good standard of dishes (the frico is excellent) and extremely kind and professional staff. Breakfast is also served in the same room, with a wide choice of both sweet and savory products. Despite the central location, the hotel street is quiet and peaceful, although not particularly inviting in the evening, as it is poorly lit and has no shops or clubs. Account substantially adequate for the offer."

"I think it would be preferable to pay more attention to cleanliness and the breakfast buffet. The lady who greeted us at check-in was truly welcoming and friendly, and she even let us stay in one of the new rooms. The gentleman at reception in the morning was really friendly and helped us with a taxi. The staff is truly top-notch, but I truly believe that if they paid more attention to the cleanliness of the rooms and the breakfast buffet, it would become one of the best hotels in Udine."

"I would describe this hotel as quirky. Old building and a nice garden with very modern buildings added; some stylish decor in the entrance of the old hotel and perhaps the garden, but in other areas on the ground floor and in our room, I did not love the colour scheme or furniture, or the use of curtains instead of cupboard doors. We had 2 rooms and they were on the 1st floor in the old building; there were stairs to reach the rooms and a step up into the bathroom in both rooms. The bathrooms were ok: everything worked but our shower flooded the bathroom. The bedroom was not very spacious and the storage offered was not ideal. The bed was comfortable, the a/c worked fine. There was an honesty system to help yourself to drinks, which was a nice friendly touch. The breakfast buffet was good: some nice homemade things as well as some typical cereals, bread, etc. We made use of the garden and pool for an afternoon: it was nice to be in a city centre hotel and to have the garden and pool. The mosquitoes were hungry in that garden (and other places in Udine) and I got a lot of bites. The hotel was quiet and the location was convenient: easy to walk to the centre. Udine seems like a nice small city. We hoped to eat in a restaurant which we located and found closed; we ended up eating pizza (teenagers’ choice), so we didn’t get to experience the famous culinary delights of Udine."

"I stayed in this facility this first Christmas weekend with a group trip organized from Rome. Beautiful structure but what struck me most was the cleanliness of the rooms, spacious and very efficient. The staff both at the reception and in the dining room were very professional and friendly. The location is exceptional 10 minutes walk from the centre. Even though we were a group of 50 people, the dinner was a fixed menu, with amazing, high-level cuisine. Top structure. "Other than the location, nothing good to say about this hotel. The bed was terrible, I did not sleep well all 4 nights of my stay. The breakfast was pitiful- very little choices, and bad coffee. My friend got locked out of her room, and had to wait for more than an hour for a locksmith to break down the door, and relocate her to another room. Another friend had a leak in the room. My mattress was lumpy and hard."

"Ants were all over the floor in our room - in the shower, toilet, and swarming near a rug by the bed. We asked for a new room - hotel was full and they called other hotels but everywhere else was full. So they cleaned the room and we slept there. In the morning the ants were back. They said this was the first time this happened. They gave us 50% off the room (I asked for a full refund and they said no). Also when we ran the air conditioner at night, my husband woke up coughing a lot (zero other symptoms). Turned off the air conditioner and he was fine after about an hour. Also they scolded me for filling up a water bottle with filtered water at breakfast (we are cycling). This was a terrible experience, we had much better stays at budget hotels."
