"This is a really nice hotel. The price is amazing. The shower was so powerful. I loved it. The room was clean, the mattress was soft. I would definitely stay here again. One thing to note, the lobby was a little messy. But you don’t spend any time in the lobby. I think this was a great deal."
"Great staff, very polite and welcoming, great location and room, not the cheapest hotel lol but you get what you pay for and this hotel was the best one I stayed at out of 4 or 5 this one was pricey but the best clearly in my opinion and I would stay there again"
"Nice locations, few meters away from the Nong Prajak lake. Staff is friendly and can help organise trips to famous Udon’s landmarks. Room is basic but very clean. Rooftop has a really good view to the lake. This could be better used but the hotel for evening and morning use."
"- Near PTT gas station, there are 7-11, Amazon cafe, coin laundry, other restaurants
- Walk to exercise through Nong Bua Market, Lumpini Condo, to UD Town, market, food center
- May not be luxurious, but worth the price, quiet, comfortable sleep"
"Lovely, clean hotel. The garden was an added bonus. The location is a little out of the centre, but we actually preferred this area with the lake for jogging and there’s lots of great places to eat nearby. Would recommend fully."
"The location of this hotel is good, it’s near the famous breakfast restaurant, King Ocha, just 10-min walk, you can enjoy your Issan (Eastern of Thailand) breakfast in the morning. Also, it’s near the Udon Thani International Airport, so if you need to catch a flight in the morning, you can choose this hotel."
"I like the hotel cause it offers rest and solemnity. I also have a good hospitable owner who can accommodate you we'll and give a lot of information. They can speak we'll and assist you on your needs. I stayed there for 3 days and it was good."

TTraveling green teaThe staff here are very kind! Thank you. The location is also very good! Near Udon Thani train station. I highly recommend it.
JJudy CCI stayed at Vela Dhi Udon Thani, and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is spacious, exceptionally clean, and located in the heart of the city, making it very convenient.
The staff were amazing—polite, friendly, and always ready to assist. The hotel offers great facilities, including a swimming pool, sauna, and a well-equipped fitness center. Everything was well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of the stay.
If you’re looking for a high-quality hotel in Udon Thani with great service and amenities, Vela Dhi is definitely a great choice!
DDanBFThis is our second stay and we have always enjoyed it. Snack stands and UD Town food court, wet market etc are close by and easy get around w Grab transport. Only few things was the floor in the shower was on a level w ouside the water seeps out to the bathroom floor when taking a shower. The main door to our room has a gap at tthe bottom that you can actually slip a notebook under it. So we needed cover w towel keep noise out. Breakfast was was good as always and bar drinks as well. Pool also good. We definitely will come back. Staff helpful and friendly.
AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at the Centra Hotel and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is truly unbeatable – central, well-connected, and perfect for exploring the city.
While the hotel is a bit dated in some areas, this is more than made up for by the excellently equipped fitness area. For exercise-loving travelers, the gym is a real highlight – clean and with everything you need for a solid workout.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. I would definitely return, especially because of the location and the great fitness area.
JJesustongzOffers a comfortable stay in the heart of Udon Thani. The location is ideal, just a short walk from UD Town. Rooms are well-maintained, and the staff provides attentive service. The quiet atmosphere and nice pool make it a great spot to unwind.
Aanthony pycroftThe hotel room is excellent and extremely clean. The hotel is in a good location only 10 minutes walk to central shopping mall and bars, restaurants etc. the slight issues were the longest ever check in, taking around 20 - 25 minutes where there was no one else waiting and being charged a fee for an extra pillow !
PPremaananthThe hotel room was very clean and all facilities were available.
The breakfast was excellent with lot of choices, western foods and Asian food.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I recommend to anyone.
OOn The Road AgainThis hotel was good enough that I stayed in for two additional night mainly for its location, comfortable bed and decent internet. Be aware that my bathroom was very small and the shower door was broke. The hotel needs some renovation for sure. Long 14 meter pool was nice.
PPimodismimigirlI stayed at this hotel for a short trip and found the location to be very convenient. It’s within walking distance to the bus terminal and Central shopping mall, which made getting around super easy. The hotel also has good parking space, which is a plus for those traveling by car.
The room was clean and tidy, but there were a few downsides. There’s no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, it might be a bit of a hassle. The amenities provided were very minimal — just two bottles of water and two small bars of soap. There was no tissue paper in the bathroom, which was quite inconvenient.
One thing to note is that when you check in, you need to leave a 100 baht cash deposit for the key. You’ll get it back when you check out, but it’s something to keep in mind.
The staff didn’t seem to speak much English and weren’t particularly friendly, which made communication a little difficult.
Overall, the location and cleanliness were good, but the lack of basic amenities and service left something to be desired.
222nd mondayThe toilet was quite bad smell.
The receptionist who is quite chubby was not really friendly and not smile to us, she even threw our passport to the table after copy them.
