Lago Hotel & Restaurant am See ★★★★

📍 Friedrichsau 50, أولم

"We visited Hotel Lago in Ulm for breakfast with friends and were fortunate to get a table on the terrace overlooking the lake. The setting is truly beautiful – peaceful, spacious, and very comfortable, making it an ideal spot to start the day. The breakfast buffet is not overly large, but well-curated with a good variety of quality items. Everything we tried was fresh and tasty. A highlight is the live cooking station where egg dishes are freshly prepared to order. However, the wait at the egg station was surprisingly long. Guests are required to queue up and wait quite a while, which can be inconvenient, especially during peak times. Overall, it’s a lovely experience in a stunning location – just be prepared to bring a little patience if you're hoping for scrambled eggs."

📍 Parkgarage Bessererstr, Neutorstraße 16, أولم

"We didn't have high expectations for this hotel, as we only needed one night for a stopover. But overall, the hotel was clean, quiet, and peaceful, and we had a good night's sleep. The only thing that slightly bothered us was that when we arrived at night, the reception was already closed, and check-in was done via a terminal in the hallway. We had booked three rooms, but the machine only issued us two. It was late at night, and there was also a language barrier, making it difficult to sort out with no one to help. So, we contacted Trip.com's customer service, and they helped us resolve the issue. Overall, we were satisfied. Thank you!"

Hotel Ulmer Stuben ★★★

📍 Adolph-Kolping-Platz 11, أولم

"There was a discussion at check-in about whether the room should be paid in advance or upon check-out. The hotel insisted on prepayment without having mentioned this during the reservation. The room was freezing cold with the window open. Even after closing the window and turning the heating up to full for an hour, it remained too cold. This can be done if the room is available before 6:00 PM, but not, as in this case, around 8:30 PM. The hotel is located near Ulm Central Station. Freight trains pass by there at night, making a loud noise (even with the window closed). This was also not mentioned during the reservation."

📍 Küfergasse 11, أولم

"Terrible! I didn’t get my €400 deposit back for a completely made-up reason. After looking for information, I realized I’m not the only one — the landlord does this regularly. It’s hard to see it in the reviews because he complains about them and many negative ones get removed. I’m shocked at how easily this happens. If you also became a victim, please file a fraud report with the police. There is an online option to do this as well. I will do it too."
