Alexander's Landing

My daughter and I stayed here for 1 night while visiting Indiana Beach. It’s a decent little apartment. Looks newly updated. There are definitely some things that could be better. I think, for the price you pay, at the very least, each unit should have an allotted parking space. Since check-in is @4pm, we were already enjoying ourselves at the amusement park before checking in and didn’t get to the room until later in the evening. It was stated in the welcome message AFTER purchasing the room that parking is limited and if the spaces are filled you must park in the Indiana beach free parking lot. Walking a block and a half to get to and from your car is absolutely ridiculous and inconvenient! I could have spent half as much $$ and stayed in the much cheaper “resort” and at least have my car parked right outside the room. I’m just glad we only stayed one night. In the future though I will definitely look to stay somewhere else based on that fact alone. A couple other minor complaints were the shower smelled nasty like rotten eggs and lake water, body wash and shampoo were in locked dispensers on the shower wall and barely worked, the floors were sticky/slimy, the tv was the size of a computer monitor, quiet hours were stated to be between 10pm-7am yet there were fireworks going off next door until at least 1am and what sounded like furniture being moved in the other units until 2am. Aside from that, the pros were the bed was comfortable, the apartment was cold, which after being in the heat all day was very refreshing, it was mostly clean, and having a kitchenette in the unit which was the reason I chose this place to begin with.

Cons-only five parking spots, the next spot says reserved for the next hotel. Then they have the audacity to email you saying they’re not responsible if your car gets towed. I conveniently got that email within 30 minutes of us returning to the hotel and parked. -Con don’t recommend first floor, you can hear every footstep on the second floor. -Con The freaking door did not lock. Zero safety, I took a video, but I don’t believe I can post it. Wasn’t that worried being that it was wintertime, but if there were people walking everywhere, absolutely not. -Pro if you’re going to Indiana Beach, you can’t get closer -Pro the room was absolutely beautiful super clean

Great set up with a nice indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. It was lovely and I would highly recommend.

It was awful. We were on the highway searching for a room due to them renting our room out to us and someone else!!!

Perfect place!!! Wonderful!!! This is absolutely the place to stay while in the Monticello area. On the water, hyper clean, excellent hot water & shower pressure...all add up to marvelous. Our coffee pot wasn't working, but within a few moments, Tracy brought us a brand new one. On the spot friendly service. I understand during certain times the area is crowded and can be noisy, but we did not experience that at all, nothing but peace and quiet. HIghly recommend
