B and B situated on a small farm down a long track with other properties before you reach your destination. Greeted by Hugh and the 4 dogs.Offered a choice of 2 rooms. Chose a sunny room adjacent to the lovely little courtyard. Room very homely like walking back into our parents homes in the 1970s.Very quirky. Not for those who like sterile white square hotel rooms!! Don't book here if you don't like quirky touches!! Lovely little touches like crochet blanket over the ottoman. Very clean and comfortable. We both had an excellent night's sleep in the oh so comfy bed. Tea Coffee and hot chocolate in little jars .No disposable plastic packets here .Fresh milk brought in a flask by Hugh Woken by the Cockerel announcing dawn, but quickly went back to sleep. The breakfast room was adorned by white linen table cloths hand embroidered and linen napkins. No plastic here either Butter served in a proper butter dish and home made jams and marmalade complete with their cloth tops on the jars. Home made bread served sliced in a basket.Delicious. Full English breakfast cooked by Hugh enough to keep you full until supper time. Everything served on beautiful traditional crockery. The same as we had in the 1970s at home. Hugh is a genial host full of witty tales. We could have sat and listened all day! Marianne his wife assisting at breakfast time before going to her own job.A lovely couple . Then the animals 2 herdwick pet sheep Reggie and Ronnie, the Cockerel and the 4 dogs.Just like home from home. We will return if ever in Lincolnshire again Evening meal there is a really good pub called the Fox and Hounds in the nearby village .Ate there as recommended by Hugh. Thank you Hugh and Marianne for a lovely experience.

What can I say! If you’re a certain type of English or Anglophile, you’ll love this place. It’s eccentric, quirky and utterly charming. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable, shabby chic with a large window overlooking an orchard teeming with bird life. Breakfast was AMAZING and served in a separate picture perfect dining room next door. Best breakfast of our week long road trip and the best night’s sleep….. so peaceful. The farm fresh breakfast consisted of:fruit cereals, fresh coffee, our host’s wonderful home made bread and preserves and a beautiful full English made from top quality produce. The selling point is Hugh, the host. A true English eccentric with fabulous tales to tell! He welcomed us so warmly, it felt like we’d known him years! Oh! This place is a Four in a Bed winner……which is another story!

Stayed a night at this b and b famous for it's winning appearance on TVs Four in a Bed It didn't disappoint with its cosy atmosphere , extremely genial owner and an absolute five star breakfast..crispy bacon, proper mushrooms( not tinned!) etc etc. Even met Ronnie and Reggie, the ' 'tame'sheep If I had any suggestions, the price is very reasonable but possibly could add on a fiver and provide a couple of small packets of biscuits and a wider range of tea such as herbal. Incidentally these extras could include a shower cap .my wife's suggestion not mine!

A clean, comfortable room in a farmhouse b'n'b in a pleasant village location. Peace and quiet abounds and Hugh's breakfast was amazing. Sheep were a bit stand-offish, but that's sheep for you. A warm send-off in the morning from the friendly dogs more than compensated. Highly recommended, we hope to be back soon. Thanks!

Forgot to write a review for this amazing place. We absolutely loved it clean quirky and so very nice. Hugh and Marianne are amazing hosts breakfast etc was fab. Loved waking up in the morning at 5am to the sound of a Cockerell and Turkey made me smile. Turkey kept coming to the window to see us, then tapping on the window at breakfast. Ronnie and Reggie the sheep steal the show!! Such a lovely place and room will definitely be staying again.

We visited this lovely little B&B spontaneously prior to a day looking round Hemswell Antiques Centres, which we normally do annually and drive up/down in one day. This was the best move we could ever have made. The farm itself is in a very quiet little village so there is absolutely no noise whatsoever. We were warmly welcomed by B&B owner Hugh and shown up to our upstairs room ‘Sun Rise’ which was so cosy and warm. The chintzy decor and little quirks like the commemorative memorabilia and unique wallpaper design really make this place so special. We quickly settled in and made use of the TV and facilities. Milk, tea, coffee and hot chocolate powder are also all in the room, though unfortunately the milk was sour so we couldn’t use that for a tea or coffee, but we were not going to be complaining because everything else was so perfect. The room was so warm to the extent we did have to turn the radiator down but on top of that the bed was so unbelievably comfortable. The following morning we went down to breakfast - the time of which was completely flexible - and Hugh served us up the most beautiful home cooked breakfast with local ingredients. One of the best me and my girlfriend have ever tasted, and the breakfast room is so beautifully and tastefully decorated too. Had a fascinating chat with Hugh too about his experience of being on (and winning!) Channel 4’s Four in a Bed, 3 years ago, which he so rightfully deserved. Without question we will be coming back here. An absolute bargain at £68 for the night, and worth every penny.

The whole experience at Brampton Dales farm was very good. Sadly the owner of the farm wasn't there until our last day, but he left us in good hands who looked after us very well. Our room was clean ,comfortable, and provided everything we needed. It was a pleasure to see the sunrise from our window as the weather was perfect for us. Remember it is a working farm, so there are farm animals . It was a wonderful experience and so relaxing.

We spent a night at this fantastic bed and breakfast in a small village between Lincoln and Gainsborough. The host is charming and very helpful . Freshly baked bread and croissants were lovely , followed by one of the best full English we have had . Situated on a small farm you get the real feel of country life . Would we return ! Most certainly next time we are this way .
