Skylodge Adventure Suites

OMG...what an experience. I was a little unsure who I would go climbing to the lodges but the guides were amazing. We recieved a 4 course dinner and a bottle of wine each which was all fabulous. The pods are simple but the bed was incredible comfortable and the view...amazing. we did the photo package which is well worth it. The zipline down across 6 stages certainly gets the heart rate going. This was definitely a great experience. All of the team, especially Americo were fantastic.

An incredible experience! We did the Via Ferrata, lunch and zip line with Leo, Mario, Americano and David and everything was excellent! Scary but so worth it. We couldn’t believe how good the food was. They even organised a birthday cake for our birthdays! Make sure you book direct and not through Get Your Guide as they cancelled our reservation without providing an explanation and refused to reschedule us. We rebooked direct and everything was fantastic.

What an incredible adventure from start to finish. We are a family of four (two teenage boys), and they saw the "cliff pods" on social media and asked if we could stay there when in Peru. I was skeptical, thinking social media had overhyped it. I was totally wrong. First off, the guides are great and patient. We rock climbed (with via feratta) to dinner in a separate pod. Somehow, the guide carried the food up with them while also helping us rock climb, and they made a fresh, delicious meal. We are vegetarian and they accommodated our dietary needs well. Then we went to our pod to sleep. It is very small and very basic. There isn't any plumbing, but I guess you can't expect that on a cliff :). But it was so fun to sleep in the pod and wake up to the beautiful valley below. We geared up again for breakfast - also freshly made with eggs, fruit, and yogurt / granola. Then we got drone pictures taken in our pods (that is an expensive add on but worth it. And we usually hate these extra picture costa for adventures like these!). Finally, we ziplined on 6 different lines to get to the bottom. So much fun. We are adventure travelers, and thus ranks among one of the coolest adventure we've ever done as a family. The cost per night is expensive, but when you realize it covers two different "adventure" experiences + overnight stay + two meals, it actually is quite reasonable. Also, if the cliff doesn't appeal to you, we met travelers who stayed in the sta lodge where you don't need to rock climb to get there. 10/10 - totally recommend, and my teenagers who are very nonchalant about most things loved it!
