"This is the most satisfying house I have ever lived in Japan. No matter the size, facilities and environment are first class, there is a feeling of being in New Zealand.
Environment: About 2 kilometers from Toya Lake Commercial Street, a little distance walk, very quiet, surrounded by scattered residential rooms. It was a little scared outside the house in the middle of the night.
Service: Wanshi Pavilion takes the key, check out and put the key directly in the villa, check out at 10 o'clock is more troublesome
Facilities: The information shows that it has been open for 23 years, but the facilities inside are obviously not new. Some years, but the maintenance is very good. The things used are very advanced. The sink in the kitchen is particularly good. Microwave oven, oven, tea set tableware induction cooker have everything, especially the whole hot spring, dressing room, There are showers, it feels like a holiday house designed by rich people for themselves, and later sold to Wanshige.
Location: There is a convenience store 5 minutes walk. But if you are not driving, it is not recommended."
"For just one night, I chose the most affordable hotel in Lake Toya. I wasn't expecting much, but the room was clean. The receptionist spoke good English and was very polite. The public baths were also okay."
"It was my first time staying at a hotel of the Tsuruga Group. It was really as good as its reputation. The dinner was Japanese kaiseki cuisine. Each dish was exquisite and delicious. I stayed at the entrance of the hot spring in the west building. It was so cool. It was very comfortable to soak in the hot spring."

"All Staffs are friendly. Communication with staffs in English needs Google translation. Onsen is normal, but a long walk from room. Dinner is great so is Breakfast. Good selection of Japanese food."
"Highly recommend this hotel for families.
The outdoor onsen is humongous and mesmerizing. You can feel as if you’re a snow fairy enjoying the natural spa in Elsa’s winter wonderland.
The onsen shower and skincare amenities were great and the cherry on top was the barley tea and vitamin c water machine in the locker area. Every guest using the onsen was polite and quiet giving each other enough space to enjoy themselves.
The buffet is packed with all types of food - kids section available.
Some staff spoke English and everyone was so kind and ready for their guests.
Its proximity to the Shikotsu Lake was also amazing."
"Visit again the next year
Suitable for those who like taking pictures, playing tricks, or taking a bath.
The restaurant has a game area
There is also a paid game area in B1. It is not expensive and there is a fee to enter. You have to take off your shoes.
Rock Climbing Ball Pool Swing Maze
It is recommended to stay for 2 nights so that the children can have enough fun
The room type that I stayed in last year was a bit older because it was barrier-free.
Staying in a double room this time is relatively novel, with a large space and a small living room.
My favorite hotel, food and facilities
Delicious and diverse ingredients
The children’s food section is very unique
It is worth taking children and elders to go
There are small activities in the hotel. Even if you don’t understand Japanese, you can participate in the bingo game.
If time permits next year, I will visit again"
"Pros: big room, good lake views, big hotel, big restaurant and effective seating plan by staff, you don't need to wait long to get seated, good clean public bath areas, friendly front desk and car parking staff.
Con: non existent WiFi, they don't implement password so they run out of IP addresses and guests can't connect, all three days we could not connect to the hotel WiFi, same food spread every meal, frozen or canned fruits served, gaudy room deco (needs updating badly!), a lot of walking as rooms are far from the elevators, only the public onsen bath is good, all the rest of the amenities must oay extra, there's a ******* looking abandoned house opposite the hotel."
"One of the more affordable onsen hotel along the lake. Small on price but definitely did not compromise on comfort and quality. Dated building but the bed and room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast buffet was full of options and delicision
I stayed in a single room facing the mountain. Even though it was along the road, it was not noisy.
Simple onsen, perfect for the cold weather
Just outside the bus stop.
The free fireworks displayed right in front of the hotel.
One minus... Like many older onsen hotels in Japan, the carpets are dusty. It triggered my sneezing and I don't usually get allergic with dust!"
