Downstairs space is also great for kids or the young at heart with shuffleboard, foosball table, and an area for games and crafts. Utility room includes washer, dryer and extra storage space. Dock provides plenty of space for relaxing, swimming, boating (one boat slip available), fishing, kayaking, and enjoying everything the lake has to offer. Gated community with playground, hiking trails, basketball and tennis courts. Visit historic Albemarle or Mt Gilead with their restaurants or antique shops, just 10 minutes away. Or explore nearby hiking and mountain biking trails in Uwharrie National Forest and Mount Morrow State Park. IMPORTANT: From Oct 23 to Nov 10 Lake Tillery will be down 6 to 8 feet below it's normal levels. Duke Energy controls this process and the duration of the drawdown and the time required to refill the lake will depend on weather conditions and river inflows.
