Foggy Knolls Resort

Stay away from this place! I booked this place through a travel agent as a foreign tourist. In April 2025 - hot summer month. Their premium rooms which I paid over 12000 rupees has no air condition , no wifi connectivity, room has strong mushy humid stench and poor quality bedsheets which caused allergic skin reactions. There is nothing 4 star about this place. Foggy knolls has mastered in deceptive marketing practices where they did not disclose to travel agent at booking or myself at the time of check in that my premium room is non-AC. They claimed to the travel agent they they only have 1 room left and rushed them to book this place while many rooms were unoccupied - less than 50% occupancy rate. In short, I was up all night and couldn’t wait to checkout in the morning. My driver who stayed at much cheaper place outside of this place had a very comfortable and restful night.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Foggy Knolls, Vagamon. We booked a villa room, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The breathtaking views of the mist-covered hills, the peaceful surroundings, and the fresh mountain air made this a truly rejuvenating experience. The villa was spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully designed to blend luxury with nature. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. The food was delicious, offering a great mix of local Kerala flavors and international dishes. One of the highlights was simply relaxing on our private balcony, soaking in the serene atmosphere. The resort also offers activities like trekking and bonfire nights, adding to the charm of the stay. Overall, Foggy Knolls is the perfect retreat for couples and nature lovers. Great location and very friendly staff. They were extremely polite and humble and treated us with great hospitality. Great breakfast as well. Highly recommended.

The stay was great. Location is excellent and the view is great. The complementary breakfast had a good spread. The la carte menu also had variety and our choices were prepared quite well. Special mention to the staff. They were attentive to our needs and very friendly and polite. Would recommend.

We visited Foggy Knolls in February 2025. Went there with high expectation but was totally disappointed. We booked one glass top room and two meadows room. Glass top room was highly congested and don’t even have any ventilation which makes us feel suffocated. Also the glass of the room was full of dirt. Bathroom was very small and congested. They offered a printed mug as gift us, but even after one month we didn’t received it even though we called them many times for it. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday there at night which was a very wrong decision as there was not enough light. All the photos were very bad and of less quality due to dim light.Totally UNSATISFIED and NOT RECOMMENDED .

I’m totally disappointed with the property, maintenance and service…I totally relayed on the google reviews, YouTube reviews and booked the standard room for two nights costing me around rs15400…my total plan collapsed when I arrived there and saw the room…the rooms were untidy and a place with zero maintenance…when I entered the room the place was stinking n i felt suffocated (attached is the photos of untidy room). The bathroom had plastic doors and the had a hole on the wall..where all the insects had settled. I need to comment about the restaurant also..the restaurant was very small n had only max 20 members capacity…we tend to collapse with others while taking the dishes in the buffet…I felt it is a waste of money n time and ruined my vagamon plan, actually I had booked for 2 nights but returned back in 1 day.
