Stayed in room 108 (Deluxe with Sea View) Pre-arrival communication was very good, including information on accessing the building and checking in. We were able to be dropped off, and picked up, by taxi from the front door of the accommodation. Location - the location is brilliant. Just behind Valletta Food Market, which for us was great as we booked this type of accommodation as it had a fridge / oven so we could do some of our own food. At night it was quiet so we slept really well. Its only a two minute walk back onto the main street through the city. Room - the whole apartment was a really good size. The kitchen / living area was separate from the bedroom / bathroom. It had a really nice balcony overlooking a decent view of the harbor. The only issue was the bathroom was small, I am 6'2 and the door to the bathroom came up to my chin. In the Bathroom, the facilities were fine, but there was limited space / storage. It would have really helped to have some sort of clothes horse to dry the towels. We slept really well at night. The room had really good free Wifi too. Whilst there is a lift in the building, there is a small flight of stairs from the lift to each floor where the rooms are (only 5-6 stairs). Breakfast - we only used the breakfast on one morning as we bought our own and it had it on the balcony. It is served downstairs from the main entrance, but there was a decent selection of food and it tasted good. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting.

We took the penthouse apartment in a typical stone built building quirky decor and layout and fabulous views over the harbour. We took breakfast on our private terrace each morning looking out over the water. Staff friendly. Easy access to great restaurants and museums

Apart from some confusion getting into the building initially (the door code would have been handy in advance!?) this was a fine stay. The building had lots of character and the kitchenette room was 100% with good air con. Thankfully there was a lift as the crooked stairs were hard work! The buffet breakfast was spot on and the staff even offered to do up a brekkie box for me on the last day when I was rushing out early for a meeting! It's only staffed in the morning though seemingly.

Everything was fine. An old building carefully renovated. At this price range I would not expect better hotel. The room was spacious with air-condition working fine, the personnel was friendly and a good breakfast was included. Also the location at the center of Valletta is a great advantage.

We stayed out Paulos for 3 nights and it was perfect. Beautiful, spacious accommodation including a very handy kitchen and lounge area. The building is a Maltese townhouse and retains it’s original character, it’s quite quirky. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty served by very welcoming staff. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We really can’t fault anything, the location is great, being steps from bars and restaurants. I would definitely highly recommend a stay here, and would love to stay again in the future.

Beatiful old building, spacious apartment, good ambience. But what is more important: very friendly, helpful staff. Thanks to Reno for giving us excellent advice on how best to discover Malta and for taking care of us when my husband got ill. Real good hospitality, we felt at home.

Super stay in this aparthotel situated so close to the main streets yet not disturbed by noise. The refurbished rooms and breakfast room are comfortable and clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The bed was comfortable and the room well furnished.

First, this is NOT a HOTEL. It is more of a boarding house that is not occupied. On arrival, you have to ring the door and hope someone at a remote location is monitoring the door bell. It took over an hour to get into the place. Once inside, my key was waiting for me. But to get to the elevator, you have to go up 10 stairs. And to get to your room, another 10 stairs as the elevator stops between floors. Then, the air conditioner just blew air. It wasn't cold which is bad in Malta. This was a mistake.

Police report filed for violent hotel owner who violently kicked me out of hotel after I went into room and said air conditioning doesn’t work. Hotel owner refused to refund. Air conditioners blow air, but not cold air. I have 3 minute video to crazy owner. Having been in over 2,000 nights in hotels, this is the worst on planet earth. Waiting for arrest of owner. And rooms are dirty anyhow I top of hot hot hot

Friendly, comfortable, spacious. Fascinating building, with interesting entry hallway, ancient stairs (be careful) and useful lift. Good location for exploring Valletta and close to ferry to 3 cities etc. Full kitchen, big rooms, full breakfast, very friendly owners/manager.

First of all, the hotel is very well located in the heart of Valletta and allows you to discover the city in no time, helped by its relative smallness. All points of interest are located within a radius of 10 to 15 minutes on foot maximum and you are one minute from the old markets of the capital, converted into a supermarket and restaurants. As for my arrival, it was a little complicated, especially finding the access code to the building... An envelope was waiting for me on one of the small tables located in the corridor. There are then a few steps to climb to access room 103. And there surprise, a very strong smell of cold mentholated tobacco throughout the accommodation. We had to open the window and shutters wide for many hours to try to get rid of it... without much success. The bathroom is quite small, as is the shower cubicle. I agree with the opinion on the furniture which is quite basic even though there would be enough room to add some furniture... There is not really a desk (a very low chair facing a console is not really an office), no armchair or sofa, no heated towel rail. Fortunately, the bedding remains quite correct. There is a hairdryer and a water dispenser but it's still quite basic... I still have the impression of having paid a little expensive for this accommodation... despite its ideal location.

Excellent structure in a historic building. Trained staff in a family environment. Impeccable cleanliness. Good breakfast. Room with all accessories for cooking. Close to all the attractions of La Valletta. Mrs. Maria is kind and ready to solve any problem.

Posizione dell'hotel ottima. La nostra stanza familiare deluxe aveva un po'di odore di umidità. La ragazza che lo gestisce disponibile anche se non ci ha fatto trovare la colazione l'ultima mattina che dovevamo lasciare la struttura alle 6.30 pur avendola avvisata 24h prima. Non so' dove hanno preso la foto sui tetti che e' nel sito.. l'hotel e' buio e tetro.. colazione allestita in Kantina.. nel vero senso della parola!!credo ci sia di meglio.. non ci tornerei

Hôtel très bien placé dans le centre de La Vallette. Personnel au top, très sympathique. La chambre est grande avec kitchenette, il y a de la place. Tout est propre. Super roof top avec vue imprenable. Petit déjeuner très bien. À conseiller !
