The Coleridge Boutique Hotel in Valletta

My daughter Jemma and I stayed at this boutique hotel for five nights recently. The building dates back to the early 1600's, so it is very authentic. Our room (the Erskine) was small but adequate, although there was only a trickle of water coming through the tap in the washbasin in the bathroom. We were going to mention it to reception in the morning as it is only open between 8am-8pm and we wanted to go off and do some sightseeing. On the first night, we returned to our room at 10.30pm after a meal out, and all the power went off when we put our card in the slot. My daughter 'phoned the number on the card we were given, and a lovely lady came out, fiddled with the trip switch and power was restored after a couple of attempts . She showed Jemma where it was just in case it happened again and promised to sort it out next day. We also mentioned the water problem and she was very apologetic. After a delicious breakfast, we headed out for the day. When we returned, everything was sorted (a faulty water pump was the culprit) and the receptionist told us they were upgrading us to a bigger room by way of apology, and that they would move all of our things for us the following morning whilst we were out. Next day, as promised, we were taken next door to the luxurious Hatley suite, the largest of all their suites where our things had been carefully put away. It extended over 2 floors, had it's own independent entrance and was absolutely stunning, so we were delighted. The staff at the hotel were unfailingly helpful and friendly, and I would definitely recommend a stay here.

One of the nicest personnel of any hotels that we have stayed in. Fedora and her team made sure we are comfortable. This is perfect family hotel.

Everything about our stay here was great! We were greeted by Maja (manager) who showed us to our room and explained everything to us, including restaurant recommendations. Our room (Stanhope) was spacious with a separate seating area and a balcony overlooking Old Bakery Street. The location is ideal for seeing all the sights of Valletta and for restaurants and bars. Breakfast offered lots of choices including cooked eggs and frittata. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Coleridge

Très bon emplacement pour cet hôtel .personnel aimable et très réactif qui a fait le nécessaire pour nous changer de chambre car notre chambre n’avait pas de fenêtre et compte tenu d’un problème de santé ..nous avons passé 3 nuits dans 3 chambres différentes dont l’une est une suite .!..la literie est très confortable..mais pas assez de luminosité dans les chambres surtout celle de rez de chaussée..les salles de bain bien qu’elles soient modernes ne sont pas pratiques car pas de pare douche et pas d’endroit pour poser ses affaires de toilette..le petit déjeuner est correct mais pas de pain ni jus d’orange frais ..

Un bijou au cœur de l’ancienne ville ✨ Séjour parfait ✨ La localisation est idéale pour découvrir la Valette à pied, sortir dîner, danser, faire du shopping. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et les chambres sont dans un style local très bien décorées et spacieuses. Cet hôtel possède seulement 6 chambres ce qui permet un réel service sur mesure. Nous avons été admirablement bien accueillis et comblés d’attentions. Nous avons séjourné dans un environnement très chaleureux et nous avons été très bien conseillés et guidés pour notre séjour. Aujourd’hui même les plus beaux hôtel ne possèdent pas un service aussi qualitatif et adapté. Quel bonheur de ne pas être un simple numéro parmi d’autres clients. Un réel plaisir d’être tombés par hasard sur cet hôtel.
