Saphaothong Guesthouse

Stayed one night, went to have a shower the first night and realised that the shower water was tripping the electrics for the whole room as when the shower turned on, the electrics for the room would trip so would turn the room into complete darkness - reported this on the first night as we were unable to continue with our showers and they weren’t interested. Then having spoken to a fellow guest at the guesthouse who works in construction, they advised us that it is extremely dangerous for water to be tripping electricity so I reiterated this issue again with the guesthouse to ask if we can move rooms/ for this issue to be fixed and they firmly told us to leave and that we could not stay in the guesthouse. Absolutely disgraceful that they are happy to number 1. Let their guests stay in rooms where there is a danger to life (electricity and water issues) and number 2 Tell us to leave the hotel at 5:30pm in the evening with no where else to stay. Yes they gave me a refund for the room but they were extremely rude and did not care that we had no where else to go even though this was THEIR ISSUE. It was clear that they were aware that the room had serious faults and that it was an electrocution risk as when the issue was brought to their attention they were dismissive and were mocking me - DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY
