Hotel Playa Vista Azul

大堂前的無邊泳池景色美極了。在泳池邊點杯咖啡或飲料（我們不喝酒）看落日。酒店有2個海灘很漂亮，這個地方非常乾淨宜人。非常好的大堂。

Lo primero a destacar es el servicio por parte de los trabajadores que ha sido excelente, y muy en especial el de las cámaras y mayordomos. La ofertas en el restaurante Buffet no está a la altura de un hotel 5 estrellas basándonos en la variedad de productos, pero si es de destacar que están muy bien elaborados y con muy buen sabor.

About the rooms: The rooms were in a run-down state. Towel bars were falling off the walls, and towel hooks were coming out of the walls as well. There were only three twin beds in the room, and we had four people, so we had to call and request another bed, which was delivered the next day. But the fourth sheet was not provided so when I called them to get the sheets, they told me we have to wait until the next day. The balcony door didn’t work, so it had to be repaired, which took the next day. Additionally, the bathroom door came out of the sliding rail, and we had to call twice to have it repaired. Finally, someone came and fixed it. So, that’s two days without being able to close the door to the main room. The showerhead switch was broken, but after some manipulation, we were able to use it. Cleaning: The cleaning ladies didn’t have any cleaning agents. There was no proper spray chemical, and definitely no one used bleach here. They washed the public washroom floor with water and mopped it. The same was true for all other places, including the pool. There wasn’t even a tiny bit of bleach in the pool. At first, I thought it was a saltwater pool, but then I saw one of the guys throwing in some white powder in the end of the day. I asked him what it was, and he said it was bleach. Even if it was concentrated bleach, it wasn’t enough to keep the pool’s safe pH level. Buildings: There are no elevators in buildings around the pool. There’s only an elevator in the main lobby building & the one which has all the restaurants. So if you have mobility issues, you have to indicate that in the booking so that they put you in a building with an elevator. The lights in the hallways on certain floors in each building are always broken. It just happened that on our floor. All the lights were off. When I called them and told them about this issue, they said that they know about it and that they’re gonna process of fixing it. However, then we noticed that many other buildings that don’t have lights on some of the levels. It appears to be a common issue. No one ever gets to fix anything. There are also no numbers on the buildings to indicate which one is which. You have to continuously guess or look on the map. Lobby bar: At the lobby bar they always run out of ice by the evening. They will only serve drinks in an appropriate glass if you TIP them, otherwise it’s served in a paper or small plastic cups. This is shocking to me as it is supposed to be the premier bar of the resort. Main buffet: The cafeteria and other restaurant waiters are great and the food is quite good. Lots of variety. You just have to come up really early to grab the meat. By 7pm they may run out of some assortment. My only suggestion is if they could put the spoons on the table with the forks, so you don’t have to request for one and have more stations for egg / meat frying. Snack bar: One day they had seafood paella with actual lobster tails. Always other seafood (muscles, clam
