OYO 18505 Hotel Rukmini

We arrived in the evening around 24:00 the receptionist is a old guy that seems nice. He is effectively the middleman as he is most of the time on the phone with the owner, who appears to be too much of a coward to face his own customers. We wait about an hour before we are checked in as the owner wants to discuss the price and the additional costs he feel entitled to charge. In this case a "early checkin fee" of 40% of what we already are paying. We refuse as we are in fact checking in late. Upon arriving to the room we are given bottled water, WARNING ⚠️ do not drink this water, it is a tampered bottle with dirty tap water and will make you sick. Our room is so so, if you are used to sleeping on the ground with a plastic bag over your head you might consider it a 5 star experience, as some reviewers seen to think. The bedsheets are disgusting with holes and blood stains (see pictures) and the AC didn't work, which we were charged extra for. All in all, the owner will try to hustle you for additional money, prepare yourself for battle or spare yourself by paying that additional money elsewhere for more humane living standards.
