Even though this hotel is away from the Aegina port, it's only 15-20mins drive. I regret not renting a car to get around the island, but the hotel staffs are very helpful that they helped us call taxi whenever we needed. We will definitely stay there again if we ever go to Aegina Island again.

Εξαιρετικό ξενοδοχείο , το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα, υπήρχε ένα μικρό θέμα με την σύνδεση του ίντερνετ.
Ήταν αργή η σύνδεση και δεν είχε σταθερότητα το δίκτυο , ο κήπος του ξενοδοχείου εξαιρετικός , το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται κυριολεκτικά δίπλα στην θάλασσα.
Excellent hotel , I recommend it , very close to the sea , the garden of the hotel is beautiful.
Some little problems with the internet connection!!

Our stay in October (6 nights) was amazing. The hotel is very pleasant in an excellent location with its own parking lot. It is about 2-3 minutes to the sandy beach with reserved hotel umbrellas, 6-7 minutes to the ferry port and taverns by a comfortable walk. The beach is protected, swimming is very good. Along the edges, the beach is lined with rocks, where you can see a lot of fish. The hotel room was very tastefully furnished with fully functional air conditioning (we did not use the ceiling fan). For a 2* hotel, the rooms are very spacious. The kitchen in the room also includes an electric two-plate stove, but it is not functional (there are no cooking utensils in the kitchen). The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We were glad to have chosen this hotel for our stay.

Lovely stay at the Xanthippi hotel, we stayed 4 nights from May 30th, our first time in Aegina and we opted for the quieter Souvala rather than Aegina town. We couldn’t fault the hotel at all, lovely airy room with a great sea view, very comfortable large bed and great shower, small kitchenette area with sink, fridge and two ring electric hob and a very effective air conditioning unit plus fan. The decor was modern and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast’s were a real treat, freshly cooked variety of eggs (the Greek scrambled were delicious), meats, cheese, fresh bread, muffins and various sweet treats served overlooking the lovely gardens. The beach, whilst small is in a lovely sheltered bay a couple of minutes walk from the hotel the sea is both calm and shallow, if a little ‘fresh’ There are plenty of beach beds and umbrellas, the taverna on the beach, like most in Greece didn’t charge provided drinks and/or food was purchased which were delivered to your sunbed, be aware though that the beds weren’t put out until 1st June and this varies each year. The owners and staff were all really helpful and friendly, we’ll definitely be back

Nice boutique appartements with hotel facilities and a welcoming staff. The connected appartements are great for families. Close to sandy beach. Top class homemade breakfast and excellent restaurant. Recommended for families. Easy access by ferry to Souvala harbor and 5 minutes walk

Very nice small hotel situated one minute from a sandy beach. The design of the rooms is beautiful, the cleanliness exceptional. The rooms have a small and well equipped kitchenette (for breakfast and salads) and a generous balcony overlooking the sea. We chose to have the hotel's breakfast, which is one of the best we ever had, with homemade philo pastry pies and different greek sweets everiday (besides the omelette, salad, cheese, ham, butter, jam and muffins). Very attentive staff, the owner is almost always present, welcoming the guests and making sure that everything runs smoothly. The water in the nearby gulf is crystal clear, you can order a drink at the restaurant on the beach and have the free use of chaise longues and umbrellas. Tne hotel has a beautiful garden and is situated very near the centre of Souvala, so you are a few minutes away from the restaurants, shops and ferry port. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family. Great place to relax after 2 weeks of hectic traveling. The hotel is clean and modern. We could walk 1 minute to the beach and there were sunshades and beach chairs available reserved for hotel guests. Water was refreshing and clean. Breakfast was amazing with so much tasty food. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place for a quiet and peaceful getaway.
