The suite was great: we loved the spacious layout and were pleasantly surprised by the presence of a steam sauna in the suite. The location is great as well for those wanting a bit more privacy, calmness and a less touristy feel. Finally, the breakfast was one of the best we ever had. Despite the more limited choice, eg. only one cheese, everything was of extremely high quality and the surroundings were beautiful as well. We would not have changed a single thing. Overall a great, memorable stay.

Visited a couple weeks ago while on a Trafalgar tour of Italy. This was one of the highlights of our tour of Italy. We walked the town, had a great lunch as a group, and many nice shops to see. Must take a boat to get there. Quite a bit of history also, as is the entire country of Italy.

In the heart of Burano, a younger and very vibrant island very close to Venice, this sprawling duplex suite was more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room. Loved the shared ground floor lounge as well. A newly-built property, it has all the mod-cons in a gorgeous old neighborhood. We found ourselves within east walking distance of Venissa, a stunning restaurant/bar/winery. It’s connected to Casa Burano as we dropped off the keys at the winery before catching a water taxi. There’s regular boat service between Burano and Venice as well.

Beautiful place! Extremely well designed property.. probably the most comfortable one of our stay in Italy. Burano is bustling in the day and peaceful at night.

Beautiful but could be made so much more welcoming It is frustrating that the actual accomodation is cloaked in secrecy, in spite of specific enquiries, until arrival. So it’s basically lucky dip. We were allocated 1 of 3 rooms in a renovated property. I think it was called Casa della Merlettaia. Whilst the bedroom and bathroom were lovely, access to our room was up a very steep, narrow flight of stairs. We found it tedious to manoeuvre our heavy cases up and down. No effort was made to ascertain our mobility and I didn’t think to say. A bottle of water and some local biscuits were provided on arrival and that’s it. A coffee machine was available in the communal kitchen with pods strictly doled out daily: 1 per person! No facilities in room apart from an empty fridge. No breakfast baskets. I felt we were paying hotel prices without the amenities of a hotel. Burano is lovely but very geared towards the daytime tourists. Plan your trip carefully to ensure you have some supper options! We purchased a pass and used the vaporettos to visit surrounding islands: very easy and fun.

Great experience outside the busy Venice bubble, incl. kitchenette and convenient grocery story close by, Super friendly staff too! Unfortunately, all the utensils were missing - definitely will come back next time!
