Churrut Hotel

We loved this hotel. We will definitely be coming back. A perfect 18th century house. With all the old beams and woodern and stone floor. Very friendly staff. The room was big, huge comfortable bed. Bathroom with bath/shower. Great garden you can sit in. Car park. Breakfast included. Located in the mountains.

Why did my previously entered review disappeared? Was there originally in Oct 2023. Spent two nights here and received excellent support as I was recovering from very bad food poisoning from a nearby restaurant. The staff was quick to check on me regularly (I was alone) and made sure the doctor was able to contact me. They allowed me to get into a room before check-in time as I was barely able to stand up by the time I got there (after a visit to ER to get some medicine). Someone else on the tour I was on woke up covered with bed bug bites while I was free from having any. When she showed the front staff all of her bites, they basically ignored her. Not a good sign. I feel ambivalent about this as I was treated very well, my room was clean, quiet, and spared of any bugs. She had a completely different experience (which couldn't be faked - she didn't have these bug bites days prior). Breakfast was your typical European choice of breads, jams, cheeses, juices, yogurts, etc. I was too sick to eat but was at least able to drink a bit to stay hydrated. I loved the old feel of the place and had a good experience with the staff but I’m not sure I’d go back considering the bed bug problem.

Old fashioned comfort and service We always enjoy our nights here , the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the meals delicious . Public rooms fullof character and delightful staff

Not if you want to have an early start Breakfast was served from 8.30 which is very late if you are not on holiday. When I checked in I was promised to be able to have breakfast at 8.00. I came to the breakfastroom at 8.00 together with some other guests that also had to get going. Nothing was ready and the guy working did not seem to care at all. Many guests left before 8.30. Ver unprofessionell.

Hôtel de charme L hôtel est très bien situé ! Parking permettant de sécuriser voitures et motos. La réception était parfaite. Les chambres sont spacieuses et le lit à mon goût trop ferme. Cet hôtel est charmant en tout cas ! Je le recommande vivement
