Château de Boucéel - Mont Saint Michel

A peaceful stay at Château de Boucéel. Every detail of this beautiful place makes you feel like royalty, from the elegant, historic rooms to the serene atmosphere that surrounds the château. It was a true fairytale experience, and I felt like a princess living in a dream.

J’ai eu la chance de séjourner dans de nombreux châteaux à travers la France et l’Europe, et je peux dire sans hésitation que le Château de Boucéel fait partie des plus réussis. Tout y est pensé avec un goût irréprochable, une élégance naturelle et une attention aux détails qui rendent le séjour absolument parfait. L’accueil y est chaleureux, empreint d’une authenticité rare, et l’atmosphère du château est à la fois majestueuse et intimiste. Chaque pièce respire l’histoire sans jamais tomber dans l’excès, et c’est un vrai plaisir de voir un lieu où tout est aménagé avec tant de soin et d’harmonie. Le cadre est enchanteur, le parc magnifique, et on ressent immédiatement cette sensation de sérénité qui fait tout le charme des grandes demeures de famille. En plus de tout cela, la proximité avec le Mont-Saint-Michel est un vrai atout. C’est un plaisir de pouvoir visiter ce site emblématique tout en séjournant dans un cadre aussi paisible et raffiné. Après une journée d’exploration, retrouver le calme et le charme du château rend l’expérience encore plus spéciale. J’ai passé un moment merveilleux et je ne peux que recommander ce château. Si vous cherchez une expérience hors du temps, avec un raffinement authentique et un cadre idyllique, alors le Château de Boucéel est une adresse incontournable. Un immense merci aux hôtes pour cette belle expérience!!

I had a magical and memorable stay at this beautifully kept and historic Chateau. The Chateau is located around 20 minutes from Mont St. Michele and hours drive from dinan. The chateau itself is located on a peaceful country road on grounds inhabited by a lovely flock of geese who spend their days meandering the properties’ ponds. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean with strong air conditioning and decorated with antiques and paintings that speak to the history of the home. The service, a small professional team complimented by the warm hospitality of the de Roquefeuil family made the experience memorable. The highlight of my stay was chatting with the Count Regis de Roquefeuil, who graciously entertained my many questions about the history of the Chateau (the current property predates the french revolution and has seen tremendous moments in history). We were also glad we elected to enjoy the breakfast, which the family customizes to the guests taste. We were also pleasantly surprised at the number of services and amenities that the owners were able to offer (everything from the honor bar to a host of experiences that can be arranged). Incredible experience staying in such a unique place. The hosts were always on hand to help with any requests and provide their deep knowledge of the area and the facilities were second to none. Stay here for a 5* star experience

Bouceel Castle was a splurge stay for my wife and I but we only planned on staying 1 night in this area and it was well worth it. We were so impressed with our room, our view, the grounds, the decor... it was a shame we only booked one night. The highlight of course was learning about the history of the home and it's original owner. Very interesting and very sweet that he took the time to share it with us. What more can I say? It is a very special place. However, and perhaps most would consider this, but good restaurants book quickly in this area so you'll want to make reservations well ahead of your stay.
