Birds of a Feather Victoria Oceanfront Studio Suites

From the time we arrived my wife and I were relaxed as we entered the tranquilty of this wonderful place. The check-in was a breeze, the room was comfortable and clean with an exceptional view of the lagoon with all it's birds. Great Herons, ducks, etc. The property is very close to Hatley Castle and Fort Rodd Hill/Fisgard Lighthouse. You can see each from your windows. The windows are big and abundant with blinds that offer absolute privacy. The kitchenette is well stocked with the essentials. Talking about food. Paphada's muffins are awesome. We had booked three nights and were regretting leaving but Deiter and Paphada were able to accommodate us for two more nights, we were overjoyed. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained with many features such as a gazebo, bbq, dock with canoe, paddle board and some chairs at the end of dock to enjoy the bird sanctuary. The only thing I regret about writing this review is that I selfishly want to keep this treasure for myself. Deiter and Paphada seem very down to earth and genuine. Our stay was absolutely perfect. We immediately felt comfortable and relaxed after coming from the busy city. The lagoon was magical, we loved the ambience. We were surprised with freshly baked muffins and so many thoughtful touches in the room. Don’t hesitate to book this cozy lagoon room - we would come back in a heartbeat.

Such a beautiful, peaceful and quiet location and the hosts were accessible and helpful. The warm muffins on the morning after our arrival were delicious!!
