Struttura tipo rifugio di montagna. Contesto molto bello, vicino ad un fiume. Piuttosto isolato, perfetto per fare passeggiate nei dintorni, meno come base per visitare la zona a causa della lunga strada per raggiungerlo (anche se si vedono panorami bellissimi) Stanze: Letti a castello. Noi avevamo una stanza per 4, con il bagno privato. Spartana. Un solo asciugamano a testa. Biancheria sul letto e letto da fare. Piumoni e cuscino piuttosto usurati. Comunque pulito e letti comodi. Hall molto bella, spaziosa, familiare. Colazione tipica, casereccia, buona. Cena buona, uguale per tutti, senza possibilità di scelta, tranne per il pizza day. Comunque cara, se rapportata ad altre cene norvegesi. Personale ottimo, molto cordiale e disponibile! Struttura che consiglio per escursionisti.

Este lugar es mágico, está rodeado de naturaleza y con una ubicación privilegiada, está muy cerca de lugares preciosos para visitar, para llegar es importante revisar bien los horarios de tren y si vas en coche sin problema, la comida 10/10

Charming place in an idyllic landscape around 1 hour’s drive from Voss. Yes only app. 35 km but the road is narrow but beautiful. The owner is very service-minded and willing to please. But the place seems understaffed (it was not high season) and he was overwhelmed with work. The food was good. The coffee home roasted.

We had a great time staying at Voss Moutain Lodge specifically due to the hospitality of the staff and the owner. Gabriela, the manager, was knowledgeable and always enthusiastic to provide necessary information to all the guests. She was all the time running around with lots of smiles. Thomas, the owner, is a super cool guy who looks like he came out of an adventure/wild magazine. He is a genuinely experienced hiker so do ask him if you have any questions at all. You would see him blend in with all his staff working hand in hand around the hotel. We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights and we found both breakfast and dinner way much better than we'd expected. The quality and the attention given to the meal preparation are overwhelmingly satisfied. We highly recommend this place to all nature explorers. One last important note, it is highly recommended that you do backpacking if you're arriving by train. The path from the Ørneberget train stasjon (resembling an abandoned bus stop ^ ^!) down to the lodge is steep and challenging for anyone.

Quiet, cozy, simple lodging off the beaten path. The lodge is old but obviously loved, next to a small but roaring river. Staff were very accommodating about our accidental late arrival, had excellent recommendations for the nearby hiking opportunities, and served great food. Patrons are welcome to take extra bread and sandwich material for lunches at a small cost. Rooms were small and utilitarian but comfortable; guests are asked to make their own beds upon arrival and to ***** the beds down upon departure. Wish we stayed more than two nights here- this was definitely a highlight of our trip.
