Eine überaus empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Ein Familienbetrieb der so viel Gastfreundschaft entgegenbringt, für jede Frage da ist, sich kümmert und einfach herzlich ist. Das ganze Grundstück ist top gepflegt und ganz natürlich, wunderschön angelegt. Der Pool, der Garten direkt vor den Backwaters, mit einmaligem Blick und das Meer, 300 Meter in entgegengesetzter Richtung , bieten wirklich alles was *** sich an diesem ruhigen herrlichen Ort wünscht. Die Zimmer sind top gepflegt, sehr geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet, also es gibt wirklich nichts zu beschweren. Vielen Dank an die liebe Familie für die netten Gespräche, das tolle Frühstück und so viel Entgegenkommen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 🤍

The service was very good and wonderful ...Best Holiday time ever.it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable. The resort itself is breathtaking, with stunning views, well-maintained facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Housekeeping did a fantastic job maintaining cleanliness and comfort throughout my stay.

Nous avons adoré l’endroit. Tout le monde est adorable. Un super lever du soleil, tous les matins avec des délicieux petit-déjeuner Avec prix très raisonnable.. Endroit très paisible, et nous recommandons vivement ! Nous ne sommes pas restés là-bas, mais il nous invitait à chaque fois qu’il y avait un petit déjeuner qui nous plaisait :)

Running out of superlatives to describe Ambadi’s Villas: situated on the peaceful lakeside, backwaters of Vypin island, this is truly a haven of peace and tranquility. The owners Ambadi and Shybie are wonderful, friendly and welcoming. A range of Ayurvedic treatments are available in house, including massage, Pulse Dosha readings, and yoga . Breakfast, the best ever, is included, Fruit and Keralan dishes, my absolute faves being appam, or idli, with coconut chutney and sambhar. You can also arrange to eat in the evenings, delish southern indian food, the feast served on banana leaves, with lots of tasty little dishes. Shybie can arrange whatever you need: ordering an auto tuk-tuk, for trips into Cherai or the wonderful Madras Cafe in nearby Paravur, our wonderfully helpful and friendly driver Sibeesh, was a font of knowledge, or a car for the day to take us to Alappuzha, with house boat for a peaceful day on the waterways, lunch included. One day I remarked on Shybie ‘s beautiful Kurta, the next day I was whisked into Cherai town, to meet her dressmaker, and bought some lovely individually designed dresses, and had some little dresses made for my 4 years old nieces. All bespoke, beautifully made, very reasonable. Upstairs rooms are lighter, have a rainfall shower, and a small balcony. We loved the downstairs rooms, perhaps a touch more modest, but very comfortable, with a bigger terrace, looking onto the lovely gardens, and waterside, with the Chinese fishing nets. We even had a sunrise boat trip round the nearby canals from Ambadi’s private jetty, with a local fisherman, also showing us his solar powered fishing net set up. You can ask for a kettle to make your own tea, but it’s so easy to pop round to the kitchen and ask for a masala chai, or, a discovery for me, masala coffee…. Spiced real Keralan coffee, all served by Mahesh, who seems to be ever present to attend with food, coffee, tea, and lighting the evening incense to ward off mossies, and any little worries you may still have. I can’t wait to get back to the perfect peace that this wonderful home stay brings.
