"On my first night, I was woken up early by the frequent dragging of chairs from the room upstairs. Although I managed to switch rooms after complaining, I feel the hotel must have known about this issue with the original room. It's really upsetting that they assigned it to me, especially since I specifically requested a quiet room. As for the other facilities, they're typical for a resort; don't expect luxury hotel standards. The highlight is definitely the beautiful scenery, especially on a clear day – the sunset is absolutely stunning."

"My stay at the Andaz Maui was overall very pleasant. Check in was smooth and welcoming, with the ladies receiving fresh flowers and the men brown beads, which made for a warm first impression. The staff also offered special lemonade at check in, and it was honestly one of the most delicious drinks I had on the trip. I’d recommend upgrading to a room with an ocean view, as it really makes a big difference. The non-ocean view room felt a bit dark, while the ocean view room was bright and relaxing. The hotel itself is a nice size, and the beds were soft and very comfortable for sleeping. The amenities were definitely the highlight. The beach was just steps away, complimentary sunscreen was provided, and there were multiple pools with incredible views of the ocean. There were a few downsides though. There was a miscommunication with my request to have the room cleaned. The room did end up nicely cleaned, but I had a slight argument with staff over it, which is not something I’d expect at a 5 star property. The hair dryer could also be upgraded since it’s not Dyson, especially given the nightly rate. Parking was another drawback, as it’s valet only and quite expensive with no self-parking option. Even with those small issues, the Andaz offers beautiful views, thoughtful touches, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes it a memorable place to stay."

"The facilities are old, but well-maintained and easy to use. Room service is prompt. The toiletries are high quality, especially the soap. The water quality is excellent and feels very comfortable on the skin. The location is great; a ten-minute walk to a beautiful public beach, without the crowds of Honolulu Beach, and the waves are even more beautiful, making it a very comfortable place to relax. There's a convenience store nearby to meet basic needs. A ten-minute drive to a shopping mall with a large fresh food supermarket, convenience stores, restaurants, and brand-name shops. Maui is more suitable for a vacation, and this restaurant offers excellent value for money."
