Terrible Christmas Party Night ! Poorly organised, poorly executed and poor quality of food. Head waitress was incredibly rude, challenging when our complaints shared and forceful which was not appreciated. Terrible attitude to guests with pre disclosed food allergies. Starters, mains and desserts brought out randomly so the table was always missing items. No Artisan breads while we waited, ran out of time for coffee and minced pies!. Food was cold, not as described and mains were piled on plates like some back street dockers pub. For £40 it was one of the most expensive options locally . Would not recommend.

Very average Inn, rooms are tired, bed mattress was cheap and uncomfortable, shower not hot and bathroom very dated. Breakfast is normally a good indicator and it was really poor, the cooked breakfast was very small, and the ingredients were cheap and nasty, no toast arrived, tea cups were dirty, a great shame as venue has potential and location is good but needs urgent updating to decor and furnishings in bedrooms

The Indian food was amazing! The lamb chops were really authentic and full of flavour. The kids played on the playbus while we ate, we are regular visitors to the playbus as an activity for the kids, but this was the first time sampling the Indian food. I would definitely recommend it!

The good thing about this place is the location.. absolutely stunning.. Check in was sample for us. Most of the staff seem a bit clueless.. they didn't seem to know about anything.. A couple of staff were ok but it seems some training needs to be done. The restaurant closes at 8pm.. (website says 9pm).. I'm not sure why it closes at that time on a Saturday night when it's busy. Food look nice. Breakfast took over an hour from ordering, not really sure why it took so long.. again no organisation?? the lodges need updating.. ones been done ..hopefully the rest will be done . All in all .. the owner needs to smell the coffee & sort this place out.... otherwise i fear it will be run into the ground..it could be a gem if run properly..

Arrived from work and was told today is an early close day... Staff very slow when not busy in the restaurant, WiFi not available in rooms, bar closed at 8, restaurant closed at 7, not impressed with the service, wouldn't come again in a hurry.

Visited here on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Menu only small, Sunday dinner or a couple of curry dishes and sides to choose from. We both opted for curry with a rice and naam bread to share. Food was fairly quick to come but we bought out before our plates and cutlery so sat getting cold whilst we waited then only bought a spoon each and no napkins. Food was good but a little expensive for what we got. Our son wanted an ice cream for pudding, we stood at the bar for around 10 minutes before anybody appeared, then a older blonde lady came behind the bar and told us we'd have to wait whilst she put an order through which must of taken another ten minutes as there was some kind of problem she was was moaning about to a younger bar girl who was clearly uncomfortable that we were still waiting to pay for a single cornetto. She couldn't find the ice cream on the till so had to charge us for a sundae meaning a normal strawberry cornetto cost me £3.50, absolute rip off. The attitude of the lady and slowness or service has put us off coming back which is a shame as the food was good.
