The Barn B&B Walla Walla

The Barn B&B feels like a home away from home thanks to Naina and Anand the couple who owns and operates the property. From the moment you make your reservation, Anand will be in contact via email and text ensuring your stay at The Barn B&B is tailored to your liking. The Walla Walla area is known for its 130+ wineries. Anand and Naina will do as much (or as little) as you want to enhance your stay in the Walla Walla area. They can and will arrange for access to certain wineries, provide recommendations for places to eat as well as things to do (outside of wine tastings). The communication from Anand and Naina is very proactive. You are given all the details of when to arrive, how to access the property, etc. Upon arrival, Anand and Naina will greet you with a smile and likely a beverage! The property itself was built from the ground up and opened in 2019. It is quaint, homey, warm, friendly and comfortable. With only 7 units (6 Garden Suites plus the Granary) it feels and is exclusive. Each morning, Naina prepares a homemade breakfast, which may include scones, pea toast, chocolate zucchini bread and other delicacies. It's a great way to start the day before heading out to explore the Walla Walla area. The rooms themselves are well appointed, decorated beautifully and comfortable. If your budget allows, treat yourself to a stay in The Granary which is the most special suite on the property. The Granary is "silo-shaped" and offers a next level experience. Having said that, any of the Garden Suites will provide an exceptional experience. A few things to note: The Barn B&B is located about 10-15 minutes outside of downtown Walla Walla (on the South West side of the area). The property is very close to the Oregon state line (to the South) making wineries in the "Rocks" district as well as the ones on the West side of Old Highway 12 (ex. - L'Ecole and Woodward Canyon) close by. if you have dinner in downtown Walla Walla be aware the drive back to The Barn B&B will be very dark. Pay close attention to the turns on and off the country roads which lead you back to the property. The Barn B&B is well lit at night so easy to see from the roads, just take your time as there is no reason to rush or hurry! Pro Tips - visit the property website to learn more about it's history as well as the hosts. It is a seasonal property and with only 7 suites, it books up fast so do yourself a favor and reserve in advance. Convient to golf, fishing, wineries, and restaurants. Very quiet rooms in a lovely setting. Naina and Anand are so warm and helpful, we wanted to hug them when we left. They provided a lot of info about where to eat and the wineries before we got there, including special wine tasting deals they had arranged. For example Caprio had free small plates matched with wines which we went for at lunch time. The hot tub is lovely, perfect temp, next to pool.

So much detail goes into everything Naina and Anand does. Breakfast is a true delight; all natural and prepared with so much thought. Delicious! The room is so clean; bed and pillows are super comfortable. I loved the shower outside. The natural soap and shampoo is wonderful. The pool and hot tub were great! The beautiful garden on the property is truly serene. I left renewed!

What a beautiful place with wonderful hosts. We spent our 21st anniversary at the Barn and they made it so special! The breakfast was incredible and the outdoor showers were a neat touch. Loved the pool and the relaxing atmosphere. The owners are so kind and accommodating with my food allergies. They even popped champagne on our anniversary. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Xlnt in all respects. The best aspect of this B&B is arguably the food which is very high quality and interesting (in a good way). Hosts are most gracious. Location is perfect for wine touring of the greater Walla Walla area. Wouldn't call rooms luxurious but at the upper end of what one might expect in the B&B category.

This past weekend we had the luxury of staying at the Barn for the first time. The experience was spectacular and Anand and Naina are wonderful hosts who truly care about the details. The check-in/out process is unique and memorable and the rooms are very comfortable. I highly recommend the outdoor showers - the water temperature is perfect. At night the sounds of the toads croaking around the pond or the owls talking back and forth make for a relaxing oasis. You definitely don't want to miss breakfast. Naina works her magic in the kitchen each morning to produce a 3 course meal. Portions are small but well thought out and delicious. Anand and Naina's world-class hospitality shines through with everything they do. The Barn B&B is a gem that all need to experience.
