Lovely venue, good menu and quality food. Mainly a restaurant but does have a nice bar area too. It would be great to say this is ideal place for a quiet drink - but quiet is the last thing available. The manager has the loudest, most booming voice I have ever heard and he drowns out every other conversation in the building. There is a nice garden area and this may be the only option.

Welcomed into hotel, Sat 23 Dec checked out Boxing Day.Dec 23.Room looked clean and nicely decorated. Bed mattress was NOT comfortable for two 60year olds. Stayed 3 nights, never again. My poor back was hurting so much. Mattress is on wooden slates and not springs. There was no where to hang a few clothes , drain smells from sink in bathroom, no where to hang towel when in shower. Tiny fridge had small bottle of milk which was sour. Room not tidied once during stay. I know it was Christmas, so was not expecting this to happen. Total price £450 for a very very uncomfortable stay. Never again.

A lovely pub in Wallingford. There is so much choice for lunch or dinner in this C lovely Oxfordshire town, it would be easy to miss this one. A really nice small menu and fantastic lunch offer , the course for £21 including a glass of wine. Amazing value. The food was delightful

Stumbled across this pub / restaurant on a trip to Wallingford. Food was excellent we had the lunch menu at £17 including a glass of wine and had steak and chips and aranchi to start. Service was friendly and excellent. We would definitely visit again.

four of us ate in the restaurant last evening , food was excellent as was the service and toilets and ambiance of the restaurant. Feel more people need to know about the restaurant. and use it. Willing to try the lunch menu sometime.

We enjoyed dinner on a Monday night (closed Tuesday and Wednesday). Great service, very well executed food. Interesting menu. Standard dishes (burger) but it's of interesting dishes too. Plenty of choice for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free

Fantastic meal, excellent service and great value for money. We will certainly be back. Lovely atmosphere even when it wasn't busy. More people should know about this place. The recent refurbishment has been tastefully done. Looking forward to our next meal.

Excellent Sunday lunch for our daughters 40th birthday. They had asked us to order in advance as we were a party of 11, which worked perfectly. All diets catered for ( vegan, gluten free and children) Food and service was excellent, highly recommend.

Visiting Wallingford and almost everything was closed as it was a Monday. Ventured into this establishment and were greeted by a lovely guy behind the bar. Beers and food we had here were lovely and the ambience outside perfect. Would definitely visit again.
