Travelodge Hotel - Warminster

Excellent location for access to Longleat Animal Park. Hotel clean, staff very welcoming. Towels changed on second day of stay but room not serviced. Recommend.

Firstly to say, the photo showing for this is is obviously not of the Travelodge! :-D It looks like Longleat. My review is that this Travelodge was not good. Positives first. Room and bathroom clean. Bed/mattress decent, sheets nice and clean. Shower good temperature and all the bits you need were there. Negatives: We were there on the weekend of 15-17th August and it was fairly hot weather. The rooms were too hot as they have no AC. The staff were very apolegetic and had opened windows but tbh that was not maybe the best thing as it was very warm outside. They had fans running in the rooms but was still too hot to sleep well. The water for drinking was too warm so had to get water from the petrol station. The Travelodge shares it's building with a Burger King, Subway and Greggs so it was always busy / noisy till late in the lobby. And the building is surrounded by car parks so all rooms pretty well look out onto a car park. So noisy and not great! The back of the Travelodge looks onto the petrol station! Quite late I was woken by a car/s doing donuts or drifting maybe in the lorry car park which is not gated. All in all not a great place to stay but I guess worked for the one night I needed it! Would I recommend? No. Would I go again if needed, yes. They need to sort out the overheating - AC I guess - and supply cold water in hot weather and screen off the petrol station

Very dated and tired rooms. Bed too firm and struggled to sleep and water pressure for shower was awful. Towels given were dirty could do with a little TLC. Staff were all amazing and friendly though.
