Warwick Motor Inn

No one at reception- rang a number and was told to ring back later. The room stank of urine (found this out after the air freshener ceased to function and the aircon was turned off)-the faciities were very basic and when the guests in the next room showered we were treated to loud bangs and rattling. A truly unfogettable stay for all the wrong reasons.

Despite poor reviews, on arrival we found a major upgrade had clearly been undertaken. This was the most stylish and comfortable motel room we had stayed in during three weeks of travel through three states. We picked up the keys from the adjoining garden centre where good coffee and an excellent breakfast menu is available. We were warmly welcomed by staff.

Terrible room, dark, old, dirty, toilet button broken, had to use a wad of toilet paper to flush, no hot water, lukewarm at best, sink old and badly stained, mismatched scratched dirty furniture, bathroom door scratched obviously by a dog. I’m here, no other rooms available anywhere in Warwick and I’m afraid to get into the bed.

Stacy is very friendly and welcoming. Room was small bit very adequate and VERY clean. Very comfortable bed. Very quiet. We had no traffic noise in room 19. So much better in most ways than the motel we were in in Toowoomba the night before. DON'T STAY AT THE CITY MOTOR INN TOOWOOMBA

Friends and I travelling by motorcycle stayed for three nights. The rooms are a reasonable size but not very well cleaned. There was a fresh coat of paint and it looked like a new wardrobe, but this was a thin veneer over a very tired motel. Check in is a nightmare with no-one onsite. No contact number near the abandoned office so we looked it up and were given a number for a key box. One of the party wanted to pay by cash and this caused a major dilemma. The rooms had all the usual inclusions. I got fresh towels on the Friday morning, but the bed was just pulled up, not made and there was no cleaning done. The following morning we discovered that there is not even this minimal service on weekends. The carpark consists of 150mm deep loose pebbles. A nightmare for motorbikes and noisy as hell when cars move around which they do constantly as the carpark is shared with the cafe/garden centre next door. No chance of parking at your door most of the time and no parking at all available at other times. When queried you are told "park wherever you can". You get the level of care given when you see the advertised pool is a construction site and looks like it has been for some time. Green water. This motel is a part time afterthought for someone who doesn't really want to be in the business.

Upon arriving. No one in reception. Told to arrive 2pm. Rang mobile number . Said ur in room 12. Key in lock box outside room number is.... All night fridge clicked . Ac doesn't work. Bed very uncomfortable. No shampoo and conditioner. I give 1 star.
