"Great included breakfast and internet, friendly staff, the room was clean and well equipped. The location is a bit far away from Denarau for day trips but we had hired a car so we were able to explore the Coral Coast instead. Popular resort with families, pool can get a bit crowded. Perhaps would benefit from a separate adults only pool. The resort grounds are beautiful and really well kept. We found the drinks to be a bit pricey and the cocktail list not very good, would have liked to see more classic cocktails. Overall we had a good time, though I'm not sure I would book this resort again for a couples holiday. "
"This is not up to standard with a 5-star resort. Overall it’s a nice stay, but overpriced and don’t go expecting 5-star luxury. It unfortunately has not kept up with the maintenance it has needed over the years.
Negatives
- had aircon issues and slept without aircon, they moved us rooms to fix this
- had a leak above our shower in both tooms
- fridge was broken in both rooms
- lack of pool towels for number of guests, tried getting a pool towel on multiple occasions to be told they were out. When we eventually got some they were stained.
- lack of snorkle gear for guests, we unfortunately couldn’t snorkle because they were always out. We spoke to other guests who went and bought some because they couldn’t get any either
- aircon in rooms is very loud
- internet access drops out constantly
- we couldn’t watch tv as the internet was down for netflix on the tv and we were told we could only watch it on phones or ipads
- food menus in the room are dirty and falling apart
Positives
- most of the staff is really friendly
- adults only pool is calm and quiet
- good assortment of activities and things to do in the hotel
- staff is mostly helpful when you need things
We actually tried to refund the end of our stay so we could leave. I wouldn’t recommend it to people and just know if you do stay here it is more like a 3 to 4 star resort."

"I stayed here for two nights in a dorm, lodge 1. I had a top bunk and there wasn’t a railing so I was pretty worried about falling out. Also there weren’t any plugs inside the room - only one outside in the washroom area. Apparently the other dorm lodges do have plugs and railings though.
Food is only at set times but was pretty reasonably priced! I had the split pea soup for dinner one night (5/5!) and a veggie curry the following (3/5) and a veggie burger for lunch (4.5/5). Complimentary breakfast was pretty basic but good enough! They had soy and almond milk available.
There is a cute ethical shop/cafe nearby which is so nice but other than that I don’t think there’s much else within walking distance in terms of shops.
The resort had daily activities to get involved with which is a bonus!! The pool was also very nice and the beach is great for snorkelling!
My favourite part of the beach house was the shower in the washroom area attached to the dorm/lodge. It was an outside area but secluded and the shower pressure was insane!! And nice warm water. However, the toilet itself smelt pretty bad and I didn’t dare go near it."
"Great place to experience the real fiji people, culture and service.
Very friendly staff and always something going on , with the reef and walks , swimming etc plenty to do.
The food is very good , breakfast is very good and cooked to order, compliments to the Chef.
Dinner was also very enjoyable , portion size is large, and well received.
The Dinning room is well spread with larger groups down the bottom and individuals and families up the top , never felt too crampt or over whelmed.
Rooms were great not 5 star by any means but they don't try to be the rooms were very good nice mattresses good sleeping a shower inside and outside for something different.
The gardens are excellent with garden staff maintaining them constantly its a real bounus they do a wonderful job.
The Staff in general are great always smiling and open for a chat. They all help one another and make it a fun organised resort .
The Room staff who makeup and clean rooms are wonderful throughout the whole place nothing was a chore
The Gym i used everyday needs a bit of a spruce up needs a treadmill and a new workout bench but I made do and still did well.
A lovely lovely place for a holiday!
Don't hesitate to book as after a few days you'll ask why didn't you book for longer like we did."
"Where do you start. Greeted us with sincerity and had bn upgraded. The Bures were beautiful, everything you need. But could have used a bigger fridge .Gardens were immaculate. Staff were amazing, kind, genuinely friendly. Went out of their way to know our names. At dinner we were welcomed with their welcome song. We stayed twice. We had already booked our timeshare for our second week and were very sad to leave. All the staff came together to sing Fijis good bye song ‘Isa Lei’ which brought tears to our eyes. Only spent three nights at our timeshare and rang Crusoes to say we were coming back. They welcomed us back with open arms. Snorkeling was great. Activities were pre organized for the next day. We loved every moment and we will def be coming back next year. We made lifelong friends"
"Is really nice if u want escape from the crowd , very gd rest here as not much guest here , u can feel the peace here , and a very nice beach here with crystal clear water , the food here is stunning paradise food "
"Some of the most pleasant memories from my trip to Fiji will remain about this resort! Quite by accident (I made a mistake with the name in the hotel when booking) I got into this hotel! But how wonderful everything was during my vacation, you have no idea!
The hotel is in a secluded place, only the roadway is nearby and that’s it! For a peaceful, relaxing holiday - definitely the best choice!
The beach is excellent - coral, but there are several sandy entrances! There are fish, crabs and starfish in the water! Snorkeling is great! By the way, the hotel provides a free kayak. Palm trees hanging over the shore - indescribable nature!
The staff deserves a special word - they are very grateful to them, to these kind people who were wonderful to me and to all the other guests! These are rainbow people who love their job! I will remember you guys!
I recommend staying at this hotel! I hope my experience and resume will help you!"
"We are traveling as a couple, staying for five nights, and want to stay for another two days, it is a good place to lie down and be in a daze. In comparison, the feeling of diving and snorkeling is not as good as that of the outer islands, but the hotel has five or six restaurants with many choices, relatively cheap prices, and many activities. The Sundowner restaurant is recommended for three meals a day (if you don’t drink alcohol, breakfast or brunch is cheaper than the buffet). The service staff is also great. There is a waitress named Savaria who can remember my name the next day. She is professional 👍🏻Highly recommended~ especially suitable for family trips."
