"The best part of this hotel is having lots of parking space. The price is good for the quality and the convenient location of the room. The bathroom is recently done to good quality and the room is very spacious. One thing that worth mentioning is, we recommend the hotel to install sensors lighting at the front of entrance to improve security. We also recommend having separate entrance for the hotel accomodation and the current entrance that is right next to the function room. There was a wedding party on the night that we stay so the lobby, which is right next to the function room and is also the only bar in the hotel is filled with kids running around and guest from the wedding. There is also groups of drunk guest smoking at the front of the entrance which due to insufficient lighting and single entrance on site, we have to walk past them every time we leave or enter the building. We believe the experience can be improved by the above suggestions."

"Stayed here as a family of 3 with our 5 year old. A cheap and cheerful place to rest our heads after a day exploring the beamish museum. What a fantastic welcome we got from the lady on the reception, she was so interactive with out little girl, made her feel so important giving her the room number and key cards. Showing her the cctv camera screen in the lobby that she could see herself in. She also gave us lots of great advice about eateries surrounding. The room itself was lovely, Premier plus room on second floor. Immaculately clean, very modern, not a single complaint. The breakfast was excellent. Great choice, everything so fresh and again three members of staff In the restaurant were all so friendly, chatted away and gave our daughter lots of attention, chatting to her about her teddies she had and admiring her jumper and crocs. Just a lovely homely feel. Will defo be back. 100% the best Premier Inn we've stayed in. And the Toby carvery across the road was equally amazing, food and service wise."

"Luckily we were just here for a bed for 6 hours which turned out to be 4, not the hotels fault. Beds were uncomfortable and room was almost as tired as we were. Prices were expensive for what it was, £30 a night is probably a fair price, we paid a lot more. I would have booked elsewhere if we had known and had more than 4 hours."

"Location was perfect for an overnight stop on the way into the city. After a 4 hour drive and day at work I was welcomed warmly by a person (not a kiosk) and had a brilliant nights sleep in my Premier Plus room. Only to be greeted by the Breakfast team the following morning with a smile and conversation. Selection of places to sit in a modern and exceptionally clean dining area. And food ordered and delivered to my table the old fashioned way instead of me tripping over and face planting into the buffet (which is always a fear). Well done Premier Inn, a touch of old fashioned values and a beautiful environment have left me feeling this will be my place of choice for future visits and a great start to my day."
