Great experience, first-class hotel service. The facilities are also very complete. Water is freely available in the hotel lobby. There is a bonfire in the evening. If you want to roast marshmallows, you can ask at the front desk. We unexpectedly met 🦌 and 🐻 on the road next to the hotel. All in all a perfect experience

Absolutely gorgeous destination well worth a visit. My room was one of the most beautifully designed rooms I have stayed in at a resort. It was incredibly spacious with a patio and large bathroom with a wonderful deep soaking tub as well as a large shower. The bed was very comfortable. The grounds are impressive. All the staff were lovely - the perfect combination of warm and professional. The spa is a wow factor and I am so appreciative of Sanela who was the most consummate and caring esthetician I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Alex at the Retreat front desk was so lovely and welcoming. Also Richard who greeted me on arrival at the resort and showed me my room was a rock star.

Second time visiting as my girlfriends and I have turned our visit into an annual winter getaway at the Mayflower. Small in scale which is part of its charm, the inn is spread across 5 buildings which make you truly feel like you are in the country. Rooms aren’t your cookie cutter, square boxes but all unique in architecture and decor adding to the appeal. Very well appointed you are welcomed with a handful of goodies to enjoy during your stay which is a nice touch. The spa is worth a visit itself. Full of amenities including pool, spa, outdoor sauna, and beautiful relaxation room overlooking a meadow and a field it’s easy to spend the day there - which we did. Services were fantastic with a nice range to chose from, making you feel fully relaxed. Breakfast was very good again with an array of options to chose from. Each dish had a slightly unique twist making the familiar just a bit more interesting. Dinner in their Tap Room needs a bit more work on the execution side. Some dishes were great others just ok. The staff is all welcoming and very friendly. All down to earth and made you feel happy to be there. We only ran into one front staff person who on the occasions we ran into them always seemed completely overwhelmed and not very in control. For a hotel of this character was surprised to see this, but that was overlooked given the rest of the experience.

We enjoyed a special picnic for the July 4th holiday. The care and attention to detail made our stay special. The food was excellent, and the gardens are beautiful.

absolute luxury! The decor is stunning. Our rooms were beautifully appointed. The staff was lovely and the services at the spa were stunning, so relaxing, and absolutely nourishing spirit and body. It was a great sisters getaway.

"One of the best days of my life" Those are words you know you have picked a great vacation when you hear them from your spouse. Mayflower Inn excels in luxury services and resort offerings. While off the beaten path, you are sure to feel relaxed and well cared for after experiences their rooms, amenities, outlets and The Retreat Spa. I highly recommend a few day trip to experience another Auberge Gem in Washington, CT.

The Mayflower is a dream! The ground are gorgeous, the spa is beautiful and as serene as it could be. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. The food was delicious and the rooms are beautiful. And, it's most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!

What an absolute jaw dropping Inn. This place was 3 1/2 hours off of our road trip course and it was worth every second. The entire staff. ENTIRE staff was amazing. Front desk, bellman, housekeeping, wait staff, groundskeeping, all of them. The rooms are extremely clean, spacious and comfy/cozy. I could stay here for weeks and never leave that’s how “at home” they make you feel. They were wonderful. My daughter has wanted to go here for a long time because of the inspiration of the Gilmore Girls and we were not disappointed. The inn itself has an entire sheet of things to do Gilmore girl related. I left my pillow here tho and I’m now 7 hours away ☹️
