Naomi Beach Resort - Adults Only

Had a wonderful four days staying here, with a first floor balcony room looking out over the pool to the beach beyond. Bed was very comfortable and shower was great. Staff were quick to sort out a noisy air conditioning unit outside the adjacent room that disturbed our sleep one night. Breakfast was good but not as good as other similarly priced hotels we stayed at where we often also got a fruit smoothie. It would also be nice to receive a cafetière of tea each as the one provided only gave one and a half cups. But staff were always happy to provide more tea when asked. The only annoyance was the background piano music playing through speakers in the lobby, dining area and pool all the time. Whilst the intention is to create an ambience of refinement and luxury, I found volume too loud such that it became so annoying I had to ask them to turn it off or turn it down. They turned it down but it was returned to the same volume the following day so we tended to avoid the pool and visit the beach instead. Sun-beds are provided by the pool, but no sun-beds are provided on the beach in front of the hotel and you can’t swim directly in front of the hotel due to rocks/coral. But walk 50m to the left for a lovely area where you can swim and get fresh coconut, smoothies and food provided by a lovely lady called Dilini, who runs a stand on the beach called Banana Restaurant. Then as the day comes to an end, walk 50m the other direction from the hotel to sit outside one of the many beach bars (just small shacks selling soft drinks and cans from a cooler) watching surfers and maybe see the occasional turtle popping its head out of the water as the sun sets. Magical.

Kleines, schmuckes Hotel, schöne Zimmer, sehr schöner Garten und Strand. Liegen nur am Pool, mit Sicht auf Meer und Strand . Sehr gutes Restaurant, Personal sehr freundlich. Umliegend lokale Restaurants, Surf Spots, Tuck Tucks für Transports usw.

Un bon 3 étoiles dont toutes les chambres ont une très belle vue mer avec le bruit assourdissant des vagues de l’océan. Les parties communes mériteraient d’une bonne rénovation ainsi que les paillassons et les parties extérieures . Très bonne restauration un peu chère il y a plein de petits resto à côté délicieux. Le petit déjeuner se fait sur des options pour un seul plat et pas de jus de fruit frais . La climatisation a fui la dernière nuit et nous n’avions plus d’eau chaude. Le personnel est très très gentil et accueillant . Il est cependant impossible de se baigner devant l’hôtel à cause des vagues et des cailloux. À droite c’est le paradis des surfeurs et des tortues .Toutes les plages de la côte sud du Sri Lanka ne sont pas propice à la baignade car les vagues sont bien trop dangereuses la seule que nous avons trouvé est celle de Troprobane Island à Weligama mais très sale . Séjour un peu décevant.

We spent 3 perfect nights at Naomi. It is located right on Coconut Beach, far enough from the road and train that all you can hear are the waves crashing. That and being adult only makes for a very restful place. The room was beautiful, with a comfy bed, a great view, a nice balcony, an amazing shower and a frosty cold Air Conditioner. The pool and grounds are immaculate. The stretch of private beach was so peaceful. Truly paradise! Getting into Weligama was easy, 1000Rp by tuktuk, maybe a little more to get to Ahanagama. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Tomas at the front desk was so helpful, he really made our stay feel special. There are several cafes, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but you have to go to Weligama or Ahanagama if you need a supermarket. Catch 99, the hotel restaurant was also amazing. The food and cocktails were all delightful. Pradeep was an amazing host! Sri Lanka was an amazing place to visit and the Naomi Resort was such a perfect place to unwind after all of our touring around. Thank you Naomi Beach Resort!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING Es war alles perfekt. Der Pool, das Personal, die Aussicht und auch die Zimmer. Ich würde sofort wieder gehen und empfehle es allen weiter. Die 4 Tage vergingen wie im Flug und ich würde sofort wieder kommen. Vielen Dank

Sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer, traumhafte Aussicht, nettes Personal, atemberaubender Pool und ein hervorragendes Essen. Das Meer ist sehr leicht erreichbar und wunderschön. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Gerne wieder!
