Wellingborough

Stayed here for 1 night as attending a wedding in the local area. Booked 3 rooms for family members. On arrival there was some confusion over the availability of one of the rooms for early checkin so we could change there before the wedding. Victoria on reception quickly sorted it out and went to check with housekeeping if there was a room that had already been cleaned so we could take it early. On her return we were told we could get one room now which was a great relief. She also helped us with taxi recommendations. We used Harrisons via an app who were very reasonable on price with friendly drivers. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. This hotel hasn't had the new upgrade makeover but was still fine. We didn't eat here as the pub on site was unavailable except for a continental breakfast. However we did find a small cafe around the corner on the embankment by the river, opposite the flour mill. It served very good breakfast rolls and baguettes and great coffee.

I stay in a lot of premier inn. This possibly the worst. With lacks of air con you would expect temperatures to be at least bearable but the wellingbourgh premier lack of any air flow makes it extremely uncomfortable. On top of staff past 5pm rarely available, I waited 15 mins in reception just to get some extra shower gel as ours had been watered down (maybe cost cutting). Still no staff to be seen anywhere. We were maid aware no evening meals available in the attached pub but not no breakfast. Not the worst thing to happen in the world just inconvenient showing lack of organisation and probably lack of investment. We come this direction often doubt would use this one again.

I just want to say a big thank you to Kacper who served us dinner at the restaurant. He is so attentive, professional and polite. We really appreciate his services. Thank you so much Kacper. We had a bad experience for breakfast at the same place when we had to wait 45 minutes for our cooked breakfast. But not dinner. Our food came very quickly. Thank you Kacper for looking after us.

Big Room, very comfy beds. But, there is no drawers, no shelves, nothing for your clothes and accessories. Even the bedside table -was not a table doesn't have a drawer. I stayed for 9 days, and I wanted to have a shelf, drawer, a cabinet or something. My t-shirts, my underwear and my make up was all on the table next to coffee and kettle. I understand it is your concept but, please consider revising it.

Only stayed one night, staff were helpful and polite on check in, room was what you expect from a premier inn, a little noisy during the night, with guests in the car park but this isn’t the hotels fault. We had dinner in the restaurant which we didn’t realise till we arrived was open, as google maps said permanently closed.

I have stayed here 3 nights per week every week since early December. The team have always been super friendly, helpful and the rooms always clean. Restaurant team also always super friendly and accommodating. Premier Inn beds etc are always comfy. Really it’s the people than make this a nice place to stay.
